Not Sure If I'm Addicted

2 posts in this topic

Hello,

I saw the video from Leo about Overcoming addiction, where he says that when you stop the behavior you suspect being addicted to for at least 7 days, you get cravings. I suspected myself being addicted to porn and masturbation, so i decided to "test" this out. Today hits day 6, and if i have to be honest, i'm starting to get really uncomfortable with this. I'm starting to have weird fantasies about sex i used to have in my past relationships, and it's very hard not to think about masturbating and porn. I'm also having a very uncomfortable tension down there, and i'm really having a hard time to not do it right now. I'm not sure if these are signs of an addiction? How can you even make a distinction between being addicted and normal arousal in something that you are naturally driven to do? If there wouldn't be a natural tension, or high cravings for masturbation/sex than we wouldn't be bothered to do it in like forever right?

when you stop wasting your sexual energy, it accumulates. and if your body is not healthy enough to make your sexual energy flow freely, you'll feel exactly these things that you're feeling.

there are methods to channel this sexual energy (creative energy) to improve your life in incredible ways. this is not a belief. i'm talking from direct experience. i am an yogi.

if you practice yoga assiduously, not only these uncomfortable sensations will be extinguished but also you will experience higher possibilities of being human. from lower to higher chackras:

  1. material detachment
  2. healthy relationships
  3. willpower
  4. compassion and unconditional love
  5. creativity and expression
  6. intuition and mental focus
  7. transcendence, freedom from the egoic illusion
