How To Prioritize ?

I have the tendency to fix old problems first, and keep the best for the end.

This is a problem because I’m afraid of “The Big Leap”.

How do you manage to prioritize all sort things in your life ?

@Soulbass This is the cause of homeostasis.

At the moment I try to get rid of some negative habits. What you experience seems like a habit to. I try eliminate the habits very slowly over a long period over time. In your case you can try to look at all your problems and focus on eliminating the least important problem. Over months you'll have more time for your best problems? It seems simple, but it takes time.

@Soulbass I see it pointless to prioritize the importance of fixing problems in the manner that you do, which is from old to new. I personally believe it's far more effective + important to deal with the most significant and impactful problems you are facing in life.  So, to do this you could potentially write down what's the biggest problems you are facing to the smallest. Then sort them out accordingly.

-1 list all your addictions << fuck them << crush them 

2- negative habits >> list em ,then replace every bad one with proper one >> your there 

3- limiting beliefs >> list...

4-fears >> list... try to just be normal

Yep, so the most significant and impactful problem is bad habits (sleep pattern, eating schedule, meditation...).

I know what my life purpose is, all I need is to do the work and ship.

When I watched Leo's video on training, I realized it's possible to be 100% committed even in details and small daily events.

The core practice is like a mondain routine.

I'd say the brute-force approach works fine for "doing the work" example writing a novel.

But for growth purpose I'd say it's more powerful to merge with the problem rather than trying to avoid/kill it.

Transforming a bad habit into something positive is my top priority right now :P

It seems like when I do stop trying to change, real change happens.

Introspection :

I'm exhausted by the kind of people who spend their time drinking coffees and beers at bars all day long, having meaningless talks about politics, news...

You know the kind of people with no goals, no vision, no purpose... They don't realize how their lives are important.

If I'm exhausted by this kind of people, it probably means I'm not ok with the part of myself which is the same.

Maybe I'm too much focused on the final goal, and not enough into "daily routine" which seems kinda like "drinking coffees and beers all day long" except you replace it by "meditation, healthy food, etc".

Know How to Turn Your Goals Into Tasks, and Then How to Triage Those Tasks to Fit Into Your Days

You need to keep and make a written task list that gets triaged and revised daily.  The clipboard that contains this written list needs to become your new constant companion.

Everyday, I do a 30 minute task triage session.  I put all my goals and tasks on 3x5 cards and spread them out on my table.  Then, I order the cards for how I am going to work that day.  This is called triaging tasks.  I also keep a list in MS Word of all my goals and tasks, which gets revised daily.  After I do my daily triage session with the cards, I run to the computer to revise my goal list and print it out.  The goal list then goes in my clipboard.  The clipboard goes on my desk and guides my daily actions.  When I complete something, I cross it off the list.  This takes about 30 minutes per day to implement, but it is so important.  Make sure to make new 3x5 cards and throw away completed cards as needed.  The cards and the written list work in tandem.  And you need a clipboard too.  Keep that clipboard right next to you when you work.  All your life tasks go on the list and cards too, not just your work.  Anything that needs action taken is included in this system.  The Ego wants you to be off-point: that's its best trap.
