Linkin Park Leader's Suicide Could Be A Result Of Low Consciousness?

6 posts in this topic

Have a look at the linked video. What this tells me is that Chester's inability to accept the present moment drove him to willingly take his life. I assume that nobody really mentioned high consciousness practice to him and most shrinks prescribed him mind numbing meds instead .

What are your thoughts guys?

American culture seems to consistently take the attitude "If it's your problem, you got yourself into it, so it's only YOUR problem." We do this with drug addicts, the mentally unstable, homeless individuals, those in debt, those who have neurotic patterns because of their parents, etc. Depression and suicide seem to be a huge problem in our culture, 9 kids from my high school committed suicide in the 4 years I was there. The problem permeates through the individual, but couldn't it be a societal and cultural issue as well? Just theorizing

@Wyatt from a system's point of view yes. Our culture is judgemental, success driven, racist and extreme. Although we do not admit this openly, we all know its true. How else could people like Putin and Trump be in power.

However the community is only as strong as its members, so when it comes down to each individual, we need to take 100% responsibility. That does not mean not seeking help, far the opposite. It means that whatever happens to you, you CHOSE how you react to it, nobody tells you to struggle alone but in the end, "the greatest demons can only be slain by him who summons them"

Chester built his success entirely around his depression, you'd think with all of his money he could find any resource he could ever need, but even still in the video he was conscious of the distinction between the inner world and the outer world, and he even made it clear that these problems are illusions, and even realized consciousness awareness was the solution. But I think it got to the point where he truly believed this pattern of being in the depression and getting out of it was something that couldn't be escaped and that it was always gonna be that way, making him totally unconscious to is own interpretations. but, I don't just think it was unconsciousness, it was also lack of wisdom and exposure towards psychological and theoretical insights to help him get a grip on his illusive nature.

maybe his job here was done...realize the amount of love and light this guy brought to this world, the millions of souls he reached out to...
this guy has done an incredible job on earth. his life was not a failure in the slightest
maybe he did what he needed to do and moved on, death is never by accident, the spirit choses when to let the physical incarnation end and to head to new explorations.
some souls come here on earth with certain specific goal; it's unique for everyone

whether his suicide was an act of low consciousness or an act of high consciousness of his spirit just leaving earth as it achieved what it come here to do, is very personal.
I suspect it the latter but that's my opinion

He was molested as a kid by an older friend for five years during a time when boys are figuring out their identity.  I don't think it was low consciousness so much as a piece of him was literally missing.
