Okay how do I deal with boredom? Personal development is boring and that's the reason I backslide. I don't want quick fixes like make personal development fun. I want a mature solution to deal with boredom. I'm ready to use all my power to deal with it. Please tell me how one can deal with it.

When you tap into Being, boredom will just disappear.

So meditate, be mindful, wake up

Boredom is just a thought. See it for it is; another story.

What do you value? Can you push through the boredom? Because I reckon if you do, the results you get will make you engaged in PD again.

@Hardik jain Best way to face any fear is to tackle it head-on.

10 day solo retreat in the woods. Or a Vipassana retreat. It will be painful at first, but massive growth will happen.

@Leo Gura anything else apart from these two? I can't leave my home and office.

maybe you could just find a room completly isolated from distractions (where there is basicly nothing but you in the room)

i am not an expert but i think it might give the same effect if you stay there long enough

kind regards :)

Six months ago I had done a Vipassana retreat and now I'm more aware. How difficult it is to be aware, how you fall asleep and stay asleep.

@Hardik jain

I am planning 2 during the next year

@Leo Gura My parents aren't keeping well, plus I'm the person who manages all the stuff here.

@Hardik jain Boredom is being stuck in the known, and it comes from the fear of the unknown.

Face your fears of using your imagination for creating interest and curiosity in the things you have taken for granted. Exercise your imagination to find the truth about your own boredom.

Since you won't go on a retreat, try sitting alone in the dark of night, in silence, from dusk to dawn. Find out what fears of the unknown arising in you. Become curious about your fears so you can examine them in and out.
