How Does Enlightenment Fit In With The Hero's Journey

Can you relate enlightenment to a point in time in Star Wars?  That would be illuminating.  Or maybe the Lion King?  Where in the hero's journey is that "oh damn!" Moment found?

Funny that you post this, I remember this scene really well.  The way that he achieved his aim right as he stopped caring is a common theme, it happened to people like Einstein and Osho as well.  

But the tricky part is that the intense longing prior to "giving up" seems just as important as the final release.  Seems like a delicate balance.  One could see how somebody might just give up prematurely and accomplish nothing.
