Posted June 29, 2017 Mhh, as an aggressor you have this approach of 'hurting them before they can hurt me'. Which makes you think that the aggressor himself has been through very painful times in his life. Hurting someone before they can hurt you, or hurting first, is a way of trying to protect yourself from feeling pain. So one big characteristic of an aggressor is someone who has been hurt and tries to protect him/herself from it ever happening again. Posted June 29, 2017 @Loreena The ego is aggressive. Ego is violent, dominating, political. So , conflict, struggle, violence, aggression, are needed for the ego to exist. They are the fuel, the food for it. If you are living in ego, then your life will be a struggle; it will be violent, aggressive. If you are an intellectual you will be aggressive. Intellect is aggressive. The woman wants the aggressive man, the man of initiative, but truth cannot be known by an aggressive mind, the truth cannot be discovered by violence. Many people have ego, almost everyone, but all are not aggressors. This is a limited characteristic and definitive problem. It's not found in everyone. I'm learning psychology and I am now learning to associate behavior with material I research about. I have distinctly diagnosed this behavior in a person close to me and In future I'll put down a full detailed structural layout of how this behavior manifests itself and the identifiers that help establish it. It would probably happen in my diary. I'll go in minute detail with the mo. Only ONE path is true. Rest is noise. God is beauty, rest is Ugly

Psychology is study of behavior, it knows nothing about how life energy works. Psychology means science of the soul, but it is is a misnomer. Everybody has ego but everybody live in a society where others have ego too, when others are more powerful, more clever, you don't show your aggression in a positive way. Then you become depressed, sad, fearful these are the negative ways of becoming aggressive. If a depressed or fearful person obtains power, you can see his true colors. Something seems to be missing in what you wrote. It's not complete. Sad, depressed people becoming violent is more correlated to manic depressive. I'm talking about aggressors, a distinct psychological pattern found in abusers and control freaks. Also those who start a fight first even without prior provocation. Those who are not aggressors, they become depressed, fearful in similar situations, it is aggression expressed in a negative way. Those who do not show aggression in a positive way, don't think they will remain same when all the power is in their hands. Then their depression , fear will be expressed as anger, aggression. You are mixing some things. Aggressors and aggression are two different things. Maybe you can make another post on positive aggression so I'll understand it better. You have a different perspective but it's not relatable here. Only ONE path is true. Rest is noise. God is beauty, rest is Ugly

Everybody will express his aggression in a positive way if he has the opportunity. Everybody who has ego is a aggressor, nobody wants to repress his aggression, but due to social needs or lack of power, he represses it.

You never want to go back to mind after that! Since why would you like to transcend bliss for intellect? Are you talking about nirvikalpa samadhi? If you are, you can't stay in that "state of no mind", indefinitely. Even a fly landing on your nose could bring the mind back. In that samadhi there is no "you", therefore, if you stayed in that state you would be a complete vegetable. You need a mind to function in the apparent world. So, are your really saying here that you believe one becomes mind-less (ie. No-mind)? Or am I misunderstanding? “You don’t have problems; you are the problem.” – Swami Chinmayananda Namaste ? ? If a fly on your nose can bring it back, then it is definitely not nirvikalpa samadhi... There were people who were in Nirvikalpa samadhi and didn't have any consciousness even when the termites were biting their skin. But, yes no one stays in Nirivikalpa samadhi indefinitely.. It has to become Sahaja samadhi... Posted June 29, 2017 (edited) Some aggressors come at you because something you've said may have threatened their paradigm. Even when it's not said directly to them. Then they just can't let that go and 'You needed to be 'C-O-R-R-E-C-T-E-D'' by them. Edited June 29, 2017 by cetus56
