Ego Wants Order The I Wants A River

I see many posts about experiences and different states of consciousness. I have something to say about this. When I started transcending my negative behaviors my ego found a new way to exist in my new world. My ego would cling to each new reality and try to assume it cannot be changed. My ego was always wanting to say "this is who I am", but my spirit or whatever you call it would say NO change must happen yet again. At first the battles between my ego and spirit were intense, so my consciousness evolved in a step like pattern. Over time the steps became smaller and smaller because the ego would hold onto the present less and less.

 

Ego does not like change it turns out haha over time I began to see the changes within myself as a flowing river. 

I once heard this phrase "You can never step into the same river twice" I now relate the concept of this to my ever changing spirit and my ego has reluctantly decided its okay to go with the flow lol

You know? I think of my ego how we all think of old men complaining about how the times change haha my ego is an old man LOL Im dying hahaha My ego has a new name. Grandpa LoL
