Interchangeable Meditation

1 post in this topic

@Leo Gura

Hello everyone, this is my first post here.

I've been meditating for almost 1 year now and I can see the importance of doing it daily.
Recently I started practicing Mindfulness Meditation, and I can see how powerful it can be in my life.

Besides Mindfulness Meditation, I really like the Awareness Focus technique, I've been doing it for months, and I too feel this one is extremely important in my life.

I meditate about 30 minutes every day, but since I started practicing Mindfulness Meditation, I stopped practicing Awareness Focus, as I don't feel ready to meditate 60 minutes per day. (30 Mindfulness/ 30 Awareness)

Having stopped practicing Awareness Focus, I can easily see how this affects my overall consciousness of my inner self.

My question is: (and hopefully Leo sees it)
What do you think of meditating interchangeably?

That is, in my case, one day Mindfulness Meditation, and the next day Awareness Focus.

Do you think I can develop both practices like this?
Or will they end up half-assed?
Should I just strive to meditate twice per day?

Thank you.
