Déjà Vu

What are people's thoughts on déjà vu - how do you explain it? I'm pretty clueless on what it's all about so would be interested to hear your views. 

Do we experience it because of a memory trigger from a past life? Or another universe / a dream? Some other explanation?

In my opinion there's nothing mystical going on when you experience this. It's just different processes in your brain which temporarily go out-of-sync which give you this weird feeling that you've already experienced what is happening to you at the moment.

Or it could be exactly that, something happens in the exact same way and it flips something in your brain that recognizes it, it might not be exactly the same, but very very close.

I don't really have any idea either but this is my explanation.

It`s the Self or Big Mind that knew the happening already.

It`s like a flash entering your mind from the Self.
