Using Music To Self-actualize (post Inspiring Songs)

6 posts in this topic

I know that muic (especially pop music and other similar types) are very low consciousness (they talk about money, sex, bitches, etc.). But I think that if one is able to find great songs, they can be used to inspire oneself in a very powerful way.

If you know such songs that you think might be appropriate for this forum, post em here!

Here are songs I randomly found throughout my past. Check em out!

The first one has helped me in difficult times.

The 2nd one has helped me face loneliness better; although you might think it's a bit depressing, it actually helped me get out of a depressing state.

The 3rd one is actually 4 songs in 1. Even though they're animated, I think most of you will like them.

Post your suggestions bellow! ?

"Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day You fritter and waste the hours in an off hand way Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today And then one day you find ten years have got behind you No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking And racing around to come up behind you again The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older And shorter of breath and one day closer to death Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way The time is gone the song is over, thought I'd something more to say"

About finding God/enlightenment. George Harrison was into Hindu philosophy. Cool song.
