How to know if you're really aromantic ?

I never loved anyone, not even my mom (at least I can't remember).

Some kind of friendship happened, but even then, I don't know, maybe it was because of my loneliness issue.

And I just thought that if there was romanticism involved with a pet, I don't know, it might have pointed of a bigger issue

Have you ever tried MDMA? not a high dose, just a moderate dose of 100-120 mg (assuming it's pure mdma) and no re-dose (it's pretty unhealthy to redose). If you haven't my bet is that it will be an eye-opening experience for you.

Was there any sort of early life trauma that possibly causes this kind of what seems to me like almost withdrawing from the possibility of love?

The only other place I have ever seen reference to anyone almost unable to love was in sociopathy discussions.  Food for thought I suppose.
