If I realised I was dreaming in my nighttime dream and it was a unique type of a dream in the sense that it will be long - it will seem like I’m dreaming for decades, then knowing that it’s all a projection of my mind I wouldn’t try to earn more money or do anything at all to improve the dream. What I would do is focus on improving the state of my consciousness and I would guard my thoughts, my self-concept, my fears and just overall state of mind very carefully, because I know that this dream is a projection of my mind.
 

 So instead of trying to fix things outside I would focus 100% in the inside and see the improved mindset reflected back to me.  
 

Attempting to fix the images whilst not taking care of the mind would be foolish, knowing that it’s my dream, it’s all coming from my mind. If I didnt fix my mind and would try to fix things outside then the same things would repeat themselves in slightly different forms for years and years.  
 

Knowing this, I would so everything in my power to improve my inner state of being so the reflection, which is still inside of me — literally an extension of my mind — would show me pleasant images, not fcked up ones.
 

And I am dreaming a dream like that right now.

The problem I am currently seeing is that I don’t really know how to use the mind for my highest good. Like precisely, every single thing and nuance.  
 

That’s why I have to dive deeper into ACIM.  
 

for example I still fantasize theoughout the day, but I think that’s hurting me based on my current understanding of ACIM. Why? Because I then identify myself with concepts and the body, which my unconscious mind interprets as though I’m a figure in the dream, not the dreamer, so I will have all the hurdles and issues that dream characters have. 
 

As far as I understand now if I want to actually experience a gentle dream then I have to think how Spirit thinks so my unconscious mind understanda that I’m the dreamer of the dream and not one of the dream figures. I think just reminding myself throughout the day that I am dreaming this is one pillar of this true identity. 
 

Even relationships have to be seen correctly. I think the way ego sees relationships just makes me more deeply identified with the body and thus creates more negative experiences instead of miraculous ones. 
 

Need to study ACIM more…. I still don’t get so much, just some surface level things, not at the deepest level and completly.

So Spirit uses fantasies as inspiration and relationships for healing. Spirit uses what the ego made for awakening. Helpful

On the other hand I feel like I get the main point and thinking that I need to study long and hard is an obsticle I erect myself.  
 

I think all the lessons in ACIM attempt to bring the mind to a place beyond concepts. And the metaphysics are: you are Christ, the effect, the extension of God and this is your silly dream, but if you life peacefully then all will be well and you will waken gladly and quickly. The end.

In terms of desires of the body - restriction doesnt work, but if you go beyond concepts consistently they will begin to fade from awareness. Tested and true. Some previous habits might get replaced with other activities where you play and bless your brothers and sisters.

I think in "The Simplicity of Salvation" chapter, Jesus puts it simply, and it aligns with what I thought is true and what He teaches:

Let us be still an instant, and forget all things we ever learned, all thoughts we had, and every preconception that we hold of what things mean and what their purpose is. ²Let us remember not our own ideas of what the world is for. ³We do not know. ⁴Let every image held of everyone be loosened from our minds and swept away.

13. Be innocent of judgment, unaware of any thoughts of evil or of good that ever crossed your mind of anyone. ²Now do you know him not. ³But you are free to learn of him, and learn of him anew. ⁴Now is he born again to you, and you are born again to him, without the past that sentenced him to die, and you with him. ⁵Now is he free to live as you are free, because an ancient learning passed away, and left a place for truth to be reborn.

Salvation can be seen as nothing more than the escape from concepts. ⁴It does not concern itself with content of the mind, but with the simple statement that it thinks. (ACIM, T-31.V.14:3-4)

Yep, so the core of ACIM is: remember that all you see is false, merely a dream, and become an observer of it instead of being an active participant. Doesnt mean quit or job or leave your family (ups, did that), just be non-judgemental, remember this is exactly like a dream at night and awaken. The end. 
 

And as Ken says that’s what gives meaning to life. Nothing in the world works, everything dissapoints and then everyone dies. So this practice is the only thing that matters in this meaningless dream. That’s what makes it gentle.

Wow, so it’s impossible to escape the dualism of form no matter how hard you try - it’s pretedermined if you engage with life. 
 

One week I won every single voleyball mach. Next week I lost every single voleyball mach. 
 

As much as I enjoyed it - exactly that much did I did not like it. 
 

so it is with every single thing. Relationships, money, games.  
 

The same amount of happiness a thing in form brings it will hurt you the same amount.  
 

the only thing this does not apply to is awakening. 
 

But in form - it’s kinda insane - the deeper the pleasure the deeper the pain will be. Guaranteed. So when tou really really wnjoy something — it will destroy you.  
 

That did hapoen in my relationship with a soulmate.  
 

This universe the ego created is insane. There’s no winning here.

so a simple, reclusive lifestyle is indeed the best. It’s impossible to play this game and not experience pain. The only way to win is not to play.  
 

no need to quit this job or leave my family, but besides that just practice forgiveness 24/7 and awaken.  
 

And whenever pleasure or happiness in form tempts me to do something just remind myseld: the amount of happiness this thing brings will be proportional to the despair it will bring.  
 

it’s absolutely impossible to escape this law of duality in the universe of form. It’s an insane universe creates by the ego.

It’s also obvious that’s the case just looking at others.  
 

the more recognition, happiness, fame, money someone gets the harder the fall. Shaytards family is a good example — went from heaven to hell, like with all things here. 
 

Where does that leave the ego when this is realised? I suspect it would resist and puke against this, because if this be truly understood and applied, then it’s days are numbered. 
 

Everything here is dualistic. Female male, happiness depression, money no money.  
 

raising above it all is the only true happiness

Papaji also says it’s all just a dream and to be careful not to get caught in sense pleasures. And to awaken just be silent.
