Programming The Subconsious

7 posts in this topic

Hi everyone!

I was curious to know if anybody has had powerful results with the simple technique of repeating a mantra for 5-10m per day targeted at a specific thing, for a period of 90 days?

For example, if someone wants to stop eating unhealthy, they may repeat: "I only consume the most powerful nutrition to fulfil my highest vision".

This type of technique, has anybody had long-term results, and any other suggestions for re-grooving the subconscious intentionally?

My intention with this is to cleanup some small lingering pieces of life that I wish to clean and refine.

I find the "do not..." Mantras to be way more natural and subsequently powerful than positive mantras. So rather than trying to instill new ideas accurate, we undermine inaccurate ideas.

Some examples mantras:

- "Do not trust the mind." x250

- "Do not believe in materialism." x100

- "Do not believe in death." x100

- "Do not be led by egotism or ignorance." x100

@Aaron p Can you explain the do not mantras?

I was led to believe that the subconscious can cling to the end of an affirmation or mantra e.g it hears ‘believe in materialism’

@Aaron p In general, did you have powerful results using mantras daily?

I don't really do it as a daily thing bro it's more like I just give myself commands. So I don't actually do the mantra times 100 although I did the other day this is just an idea about what you could do if you want.

In actuality what I've found is that the body and ego behave kind of like those flying creatures from avatar... You ever see that movie where the main character makes the bond with the huge flying bird creature were they form a telepathic connection and he can were they form a telepathic connection which enables him to basically move and fly as the creature to control its body with his mind. But because he's so ill experienced he has to say verbal commands.

I do this with myself. I essentially command myself verbally out loud to go do something over and over and over again really powerfully and I go do it quickly.

Sometimes during meditation I mentally say the word - focus - to myself. What's interesting is Ive also been playing with commands like;

- increase consciousness now

- increase intelligence now

- increase emotional control now

- increase drive and determination now

- increase clarity now

Etc.

Said repeatedly, I think they can be moderately Powerful.

Repeating things in a simple, mechanical fashion might be mildly effective for starting out, but I've found far better ways to do it.

The way that worked best for me is to actually sit down, contemplate, and deconstruct the beliefs that are holding you back from simply making more rapid shifts. Why believe you need a process of repetition to program yourself? Why can't you just decide, and shift? The mind is already highly adaptable and fluid or it would not be able to learn anything.

In fact, when you repeat a lot, you could end up sending the opposite message to your subconscious, that it's really hard. You want to make it easier, but if it's so easy, why do you need to repeat it so many times? Even 5 - 10m is way too much, imo.

This is not to say there is no space for mantras. Mantras are for amplifying the realizations that you already had by feeling the truth of them deeply when you say them. Like a reminder. Contrast this with saying a mantra to resolve something that has not been resolved yet, as a sort of simple, mechanical process. Huge difference.
Hope this helps

Hi, this did help me but over time the effect faded away to a point where it went completely back to the same point I started.

I realised that you got to do this from time to time whenever you feel the need...
