People Don't Really Care About you

People don't really have the capacity for much love. Many will try to deny this bitter Truth but i've observed it first hand , many many times , over and over again.

Shunyanurti, a spiritual master often says that : "the ego cannot love. The ego only loves it's own Interests"

Most people don't really care about you. Few might care just for a few seconds , and even this won't probably lead to any meaningful action.

What most people care about is just their House, their Business, their Sexual partner, their Children , meeting their Needs and that's it

It's purely a survival operation. Like the jungle. Like animals.

And that is one reason why the world is so insane and messed up .

If you even attempt to talk about this obvious fact, people will think you are weird and some will even become aggressive because you suddenly woke them up from their dream and you sent their mind into a direction, that they don't wanna go.

Most people only discuss things about how to survive better.

Rarely i hear conversations that go any deeper than mere animalistic survival. This is the current state of the world, generally speaking. Maybe 2000 years from now, Enlightment, Love, etc will become mainstream.

Any love the ego provided will be of self interest tho. They don't love you they love the idea of you and have no idea who you are. We don't even know who we are.

It's the same with Infinite Love. Just scale it up to Infinity. Infinity cares about Infinity (itself), hence it loves everything unbiasly because everything is Infinite.

Ego can love, it is just a very tiny scale of Infinite Love.

To actively care about strangers, takes time and effort and energy. People don't "not care" as much as, they're using their energy to care about what matters the most and to them. Imagine if one was to care about everyone and everything that existed. Talking about enlightenment and those sorts of things can also be about how to survive better and without suffering. Enlightenment isn't worried about who is talking about it, you are. You've given meaning to what enlightenment means, those other people gave meaning to the importance of talking about pizza. See a baby drowning or a man in a burning car, and you'll quickly see the care emerge. You want to see what you want to see; and when you don't, you curse the world. You're no better than the people not talking about what you consider deep, you just see it differently. If your circumstances were different and your experiences were different, you'd be interested in seeing different things too.

I'm noticing more and more that my relationships reflect who I am.

If I feel the urge to judge those around me for being inconsiderate and selfish, then when I look back, I notice that I am inconsiderate and selfish. Ups.

It's easy to judge and see evil in the world, but perhaps we merely see our own self projected outside of us. Then, we blame others to reduce the guilt we feel unconsciously for being something that we hate.

In the End its all about what You are Experiencing within Yourself..

The most important and loving relationship is supposed to be between a Parent and Child.  Why would a Parent give their life for their Child? Its because of what they are experiencing within themselves that determines that, they Love the Child so much that they deem it more important than their own life, so hence they will give it away to protect the Child.

Devotion is the only way, its above Love on the scale as Love is about Including the Other as a part of Yourself, Devotion is about being Devoid of Self, Self in whatever way You Experience it and understand it is no longer the most important, so in essence the parent is in Devotion of the Child, but again this is what the person is experiencing within themselves.. Mostly no one in the society is a Devotee or True Love Experiencer, they are into an Exchange, an Agreement situation, I will do this and this for You in exchange that You do this and this for Me, of course there are Feelings involved a connection of sorts but its low level, as soon as the other stops doing that thing for them the connection is broken, so its dependent on something, so its like a contract.  A stranger has no feeling towards You generally, Your not in their circle or identity of concern so your like an inanimate object to them..

All of this is based on how connected You are with so called "Other", which can be a person, place or thing..so that "Other" becomes YOU!

We have such little capacity for love because we are constantly bombarded with negativity, violence, self hatred. 
 

We are so much more focused on our own survival and making sure we stay “ok” than we are about loving and being kind. 
 

Next time you find yourself making something about you, thinking someone is “attacking you”, choose love, not retaliation.
