Happy Easter

Why did Jesus become so popular? He isn’t the first to spread a god message. We have non dualists today talking (non duality doesn’t appeal to the public it only works when it’s embedded between the lines and not explicit because then people won’t get it’s about non duality which is perhaps how some holy scriptures work I don’t know though) we have speakers like eckhart tolle and Rupert spira etc . I respect Jesus and see the value in it but I don’t get why he got the most popular

Somebody did a really good job on marketing :D.

The cross is a very easy symbol to copy and memorize. Also, the teachings at the base of Christianity are very human-oriented (in a good sense) but sadly, it lost it's meaning with all the corruption going on.

Also, it's funny that the more counsciouness you become, the more "Jesus-like" you become, but without the religious dogma.

Because people are attached to the promise of an eternal life.

Other teachers teach only to those who are ready, so their audience is only that much. Some teachers go more into the public and try to shine some light there and they receive a huge backlash from egos. Those people are significantly more popular because of the drama that they create. (like sadhguru for example). But J chose to go to the darkest corners of humanity and be the light there knowing fully well of the consequences it will bring. The deeper into darkness you go, the more people your light is going to touch. It also shows the capacity and extent of one's love. The deeper your love is, the more people you can shoulder. Apparently Jesus descided to shoulder a huge chunk of the pie.

Imagine for a moment, dear friends, that you are Conciousness, and that you have only this one awareness - that you are at peace, and that you are.

Because of the idea that you can claim your allegiance with Jesus without being very explicit about what doctrine you need to follow and still be saved. It's fast food spirituality. It streamlines the process. You don't need to do much ground work, you don't need to prepare much of the ingredients, all you need to do is turn up the heat and out comes the food. You basically only need to open your mouth to the body of Christ.

It’s appealing, it’s not pure explicit non duality. It’s not very strict. So yea maybe that’s an aspect

I mean it doesn’t matter.

But maybe he can explain how shooting at refugees etc goes together with a love for Jesus.

I mean who knows it doesn’t matter anyway honestly. And I don’t know enough about Jesus to have a very founded view of him.
