Leo, How Do You Deal with Stress?

Why don't you love truth?

I don't know in his place, but I assume that he is not in the space to do so and so am I. You are kinda the exception Leo, don't you think so? You have the ability now to do Truth full time and find ways how to do Truth in a personalized way. Most of us just do something that is handed to us and over 30 years we may have some original tought and method that brings us to the Truth even, despite the unpopularity and inconvenience of deeper and deeper journey into the Truth and most importantly implementation of Truth over the threshold of Forgetfulness for any aspect in life.

Can you recognize in your experience "where" you're doing the stress, and so become responsible for its creation? Cause I can't. :D  Doing that would allow you not to do it in the first place, or help reduce it to a great extent.

In your specific case, focusing on a single subject for a time is necessary; otherwise you just get distracted and overwhelmed, jumping from one thing to another, without any real depth.

You meant you “can”?

No, can't. If it's still experienced, or to the degree that it is, then that's a sign the activity is not being grasped as it is happening. We could say we do "understand" it intellectually although that doesn't make a difference in our lived experience.

But I loved truth ever since I was a teenager, busy with school and clueless about life. So that's no excuse.

Love of truth does not require you to have some special philosophy job. You don't need to be a zookeeper to love animals.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Ok . I’d say I agree. Based on some of my own experiences.

It’s like a kind of “distance” to the stressful mind activity(or tension in the body, and other ways stress can manifest as) is required , and that “distance” is kind of like an clear awareness of it, which I guess is similar to what you call “being grasped as is happening”.

It’s probably hard because we get caught up in the stressful mind activity

@Leo Gura Is it the case that people create fantasies and constructions to escape direct experience ?

By the way contemplation leads to understanding of truth while direct experience leads to living with truth .

Both are important but direct experience wins in case of truth.

In my experience fantasy and mind constructions can be ways to escape uncomfortable feelings in the body, emotions, boredom

Could be. Also, it is like: "Oh, I'm actually doing this. It is not some circumstance being thrust upon me." And as a result, being able not to do it.

You likely weren't thinking of a dolphin prior to reading this sentence; and now you likely do. It is something like that, just on a deeper domain of feeling, perhaps.

@Sugarcoat Yeah that's a great perspective but I think that everyone fails(including me of course) to realize the importance of direct experience which looking at one's hand, an object in the room or just focussing one's attention on what's being experienced. It offers such a deep tranquility and liberation from falsehood .

@SQAAD omg is this how most people feel when they have to think????

OCD is Satan's chess game! Each obsessive thought is a calculated move. Defeating it means watching the Devil himself become obsessed with why his intricate maze no longer holds you captive. True mastery isn't just taming a mind that is hell—it's renovating hell into a kingdom only you have the keys to.

The ultimate checkmate is when Satan starts attending therapy sessions to understand how you broke free—only to discover he's been talking to Michael Jackson in the mirror the whole time.

So to answer your question, no. Most people cannot be like MJ. Their minds are in a completely different world. And it is a huge mistake to act like you're a normal human being if you are neurodivergent.

@Yimpa What do you think are the main differences between normal people and neurodivergents?

Let's reframe normal people as neurotypical.

The main differences between neurotypical and neurodivergent people relate to how we experience and navigate societal structures. Modern society was primarily designed with neurotypical minds as the gold standard, creating inherent challenges for neurodivergents. This tendency for neurodivergents to behave (and therefore, challenge) outside social norms affects all relationships, including in family, work, and social contexts. It's a battle of having to conform or to let your authentic self come out.

So it should come as no surprise that neurodivergents experience higher baseline stress from constantly adapting to environments not designed for their natural processing styles—like needing to mask social behaviors and manage sensory sensitivities in everyday life.

Neurotypicals experience stress as well, of course. But their survival support system is much more robust. Neurodivergents have to constantly deal with a fundamental mismatch between how their minds work and how society expects them to function. And a lack of understanding and resources adds more fuel to the fire.

Neurotypicals believe that neurodivergents are living in a fantasy, when it is in fact their reality.
