Democratic US Senator Chris Van Hollen just reported that according to the Vice President of El Salvador Felix Ulloa, the trump Administration has been paying off the El Salvador government to keep Kilmar Abrego Garcia in their CECOT prison. What a hero for going down there himself and getting them to admit that.

This basically is the straw that break's the camels back in terms of Democracy and violates the supreme court itself. I don't think something like this has ever happened before in American history. The next week in terms of headline will be insane.

I would also like to share this series of article that predicted 2 weeks ago that Trump will be invoking the Insurrection act around April 20th 2025, enacting Martial law and turning the US into basically a 1984 style military dictatorship

I would normally agree with you, people always dramatize- but this situation is actually and legitimately quite dark and bleak. It’s pretty scary

Still our technologies havent solved the underlying dynamics that historically gave rise to the fall of civilization. If you read Tainters Rise and Fall of Complex Societies you see that our advanced technologies havent solved any of the underlying causes, but rather accelerate them.

Well democracies are based on three branches, the executive(president), judiciary(court systems, of which the US supreme court is the top one in the US) and the legislative(congress.)

He's already ignored congress multiple times and DOGE basically doesn't need oversight from them. He is now defying the supreme court which is stacked in his favor anyway as 5 of the 9 justices are republican. 

If he gets away with it he'll be a defacto king/dictator with no real limit to what he can do. I would read this article on what happens if he uses the insurrection act to declare martial law over the US.

He's also planning on subverting democracy to become ruler for life and has a lot of people working on his third term and normalizing it publicly

Is it true the will try to use martial law or something similar? They are now ignoring orders from the Supreme Court. I figure this will be a slow boil like the frog in the pot. They don’t need to rush it. Come the next election they will have dismantled so much.

Your own farm and an army to defend it. But I don't think it will come to that because Americans know they would be crushed in a real war. And there are the nukes. If the economy really collapses, Trump will be fired and that's it. And it probably won't collapse.
