What can we do to stop the far right?

I'm open to be proven wrong but I find AI nice for summarizing very specific questions I have. It's a lot easier than digging through tons of pages to piece together the information that I'm seeking. But! I always end the chat with "what are your sources?"

That said, I have already broken up with google and Facebook. I don't give them my information anymore. I am very reluctant to give OpenAI my data but I am not sure how possible that will be going forward. To maintain relevance in the workforce I have to keep up with modern technologies.

It's because he doesn't come off as someone who can relate to most everyday Americans culturally.

I don't understand that. Bernie is a broken record. He just goes on about affordable healthcare, affordable education, and living wages.

Who the fuck can't relate to that.

He does, however, need to shut the fuck up about being a "democratic socialist".

So, while you might see a focus towards gay rights or trans rights as being the thing that divides the left and the working class... it is actually the prejudice against gay and trans people (and religious and ethnic minorities) that does that.

You can't have transphobia in your working class movement any more than you can have gender equality in your ethnostate.

If you want some elements of the far right (like rejection of the focus toward gay and trans people), you take everything that comes with it.

So, if you don't want authoritarianism, you have to learn to accept people's differences.

We could vote to just gas all gays and minorities. That would be democratic.

Authoritarianism and democratic monarchism is more due to depoliticization. Liberal beliefs and democratic principles are not a sufficient condition for democratic participation (Voting for authoritarianism is democratic for example). It is correct to say that the focus on identity politics is a consequence of depoliticization however. A lot of the same people enthusiastic about Bernie Sanders voted Trump last election. A significant amount of people didn't even vote.

The right emerges when the centre and the left are fighting with eachother. Also when the centre or the left focus too much on bullshit like pronouns or gender identity or LGBTQ. As a blue collar worker it infuriates me greatly when I see the left wing politicians bitch and moan about gay rights when I barely have money to afford food and pay bills. Instead of focusing on how to help the poor and the exploited they defend trans people. This in turn makes the workers resent the rulling left for focusing on bullshit instead of offering help to not be milked to death by the oligarcs!

Inequality is the key word here. When a society becomes too unequal, too many people start living in two very different realities. That’s when you get nationalistic conservatives on one side, and progressives—more like «world citizens»—on the other. Even though the working class in for example the US has it rough, American progressives don’t really feel that bad for them, because they know that the poorest people in places like Africa or the Middle East have it way worse. The only Americans whose level of suffering might compare to the worst in those places might generally just be the trans people. Trans people are some of the most miserable people on Earth, even in Western countries.

The opposite is more likely: AI becomes the next source of dogma and group-think. People stop thinking entirely and just parrot AI. Already happening on this forum.

My thought process is that AI provides a emotionally stable, Supportive, ethically correct person to interact with that is better than most parents and teachers.

Giving everyone constant exposure to a higher quality worldview from birth and an emotionally intelligent conversation partner will just help the child grow.

The barrier to ask the question and get an answer is extremely low, so when a person is struggling it is instinctive to just ask the thing for help, but it's much harder to go out and watch a YouTube video or read a book especially as a 15-year-old trauma girl living in the slums.

A generation will be born that socializes heavily with an emotionally intelligent AI, it's true that it will regurgitate a certain consensus in culture but at the same time it has that "Silicon Valley liberal" worldview. Which is a step up of 85% of the population.

All of these stage red/blue people from Saudi Arabia are being exposed to a "Silicon Valley liberal worldview" everyday from birth.

Your a child living in a closed-minded Muslim family yet your socializing everyday with a high orange/green AI...

And soon this AI will be the most intelligent human who has ever lived (by some narrow measurements and excluding Leo :D)

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

Its actually suprising me how mature chatGPT is, like it collects the best of the best answers one can provide. It cannot replace independent thinking and right-brain insights but still a high quality tool.

🏔 Spiral dynamics can be limited, or it can be unlimited if one's development is constantly reflected in its interpretation.

That might be the case but the media sure did hone in on it.

@Yimpa The problem with mankind is that we speak too much. If I had a magic wand I would like for mankind to only be allowed to make a statement only if it is factually true! Otherwise I'd like for the ones who spread falsehoods to have their lips shut.
