8 months Homeless

I experience homelessness for the past 8 months. I would like to share some insights about the whole learning experience:

First of all , let's talk about people. As Leo has stated, we indeed live in the Dark Ages of Consciousness and Spiritual Development:

I have not yet met a person in close, that i would regard as high quality. (Not to mention about Awake)

People simply don't have the luxury to care about you. It would impair their ability to survive..

Also, most people will try to determine your worth, put it in a box, and then try to put you inside that box.

You have to say no sometimes to their limitations and ideas about you.

You have to constantly face their stupidity and lack of Consciousness.

Also you realize that , death is natural. And it's okay to die. 

All your ideas about how life should be, or Unfold, or look like get demolished and Crushed.

You didn't need to be homeless to get those insights; you can learn that in grade school.

I am truly sorry to hear about your situation. 

I don't know exactly what is going on in your life, but I can tell that you have a very pessimistic outlook on life. This will only lead to more negative outcomes to arise. The only way to get out of this cycle is to find something to be hopeful about. Hopefulness will lead to getting yourself out of the rut that you are in and onto a brighter path. 

Find something positive that you can work towards and find a way to believe in yourself to get there, whether it be landing a job or living in an apartment or meeting a girl. Envision yourself enjoying this luxury and your mind will naturally find ways of moving you towards your vision.

If the kids in grade school in Moldova don't know these lessons, I think you can teach them. I see an opportunity.

You assume that i am in a rut, when i am already doing my best.

Meditating, attending NA meetings, taking calculated risks, etc. But noone is really helping me. So it's a lot harder.

Just to go out and find a job is a real challenge because you have to be clean , shaved , and with a belly full of food.

First off, I think you deserve to pat yourself on the back. Going 8 months through something like this I'm sure has not been easy and you are literally facing what most people fear most, including me. And you are surviving every day and doing your best. 

Second, I pulled this quote because I think it's very powerful and a really important Taoist teaching. In life we face unexpected challenges, things may get very challenging at times and all our ideas about how life should unfold melt. I've experienced this before where this fantasy melts away and you are left with what is here in reality, what needs attention.

I must have been incredibly fortunate.

Where I came from, that's all they taught me.
