Best game locations in Europe?

11 posts in this topic

Decided to move to Europe instead of America the year I turn 20 to practice game, because in America you have to wait until 21 to go clubbing.

What are the best gaming spots in EU?

Everywhere has pros and cons, but ultimately any big European city will have pretty good options for dating and partying.

For example, Scandinavian countries have exceptionally pretty people but they’re also much more introverted on the whole and don’t tend to mingle as much as other countries. That can make it really hard to make friends or flirt with people. They’re also really expensive.

I was in Germany recently and I really loved the vibe there, I found it pretty easy to meet people too, so I guess if I had to recommend a country I’d say that.

I really like music festivals like Tomorrowland in Belgium, you have to have the cha-ching 🤌 for it

I think cold approaching sucks everywhere, even in the States, you pick a gigantic city you like most, you join a running club or similar social preferably physical activity club, you make friends, and you go out with those friends to bars, clubs, festivals etc… It’s a slower but more effective, less emotionally  taxing way of getting a girlfriend and a sense of community.

People call this way of living, “The cure to Male depression”. You can search it up on Instagram or maybe TikTok.

Cold approaching is ineffective, taxing, awkward, and at the end you only get a girlfriend? That’s a broken deal.

A girlfriend is not a fix for loneliness if you have no community and no friends. You don’t wanna be living a life where the only person you talk to is your girlfriend and you go alone to the gym every day.

Berlin and Madrid are the biggest cities. I’d go with Amsterdam or Paris though. Amsterdam because of English literacy and Paris because it looks great / great vibe. So Scandinavia and Western EU. People in Eastern EU tend to be more racist against Asians, it’s a shitty part anyway so ur not missing anything. You could do Ireland  but you’ll get depression living there.

It's also funny how even "pick up Gurus" like Todd or Owen suggest in the end to find a girlfriend through social circles and not cold approach. But tbh, approaching strangers in general can be a fun exercise if you are not pushing too hard for an outcome.

I haven't had any experience doing pick-up in Amsterdam but most people on the streets in the centrum area ("the onion") are tourists, so a little casual pick-up should be more socially accepted.

The red-light district would suck for pick-up since the prostitutes would constantly neg you.

Sweden.

Why? Relatively few people, daygame doesn't work and online dating has pretty much killed bars and clubs as an arena for sex/relationships. Online dating is huge in Scandinavia.

Lol, you think you can just land in Europe like that.

You should rather worry about being able to get a visa to a country, a job, speak the language etc.

Yet another proof of the superiority of Latin culture :P

Dating sites in 2k5 are a form of depravation

I actually agree, even though this culture benefits me a lot — I’m really introverted, can’t dance, but I have the looks. Still, going out on a Saturday night and only sticking to your own group, like we do here, feels so sad and absurd to me. Same with walking around a city surrounded by thousands of people and never interacting with any of them, because talking to strangers is such a social taboo. It’s like we’ve been given one of the greatest privileges a human can have, but we’re not using it.

There was recently an op-ed here encouraging people to talk more with strangers in their everyday lives, and it got a lot of likes. I really hope it’s the start of something!

That said, I'm not very sociable, tbh. I just want something in between PUAs and dating sites.
I'm happy in small groups.
