Can deconstructing reality turn you into a serial killer ?

11 posts in this topic

I mean, it is always fascinating how as i am deconstructing my mind, i find serial killer like those who have escaped radically mainstream society and jailbroken their minds to an extent. Like i can philosophize all day long about how murder is a mental construct... However it is different from actually committing murder, so the question is, can deconstructing reality and your mind turn someone into a serial killer ?

There will be a time where your morality will crumble. You need to have an anchor in Love, else it will lead to a lot of chaos.

But then a deeper, higher kind of Morality will unfold — it is called COMPASSION.

We only need (most) rules and laws because so few have advanced to that stage yet.

You aren't afraid to ask the dark questions my dude.

There is no need to wonder, there are already serial killers all around us, your family members and friends are all serial killers because they eat meat. Where's the line between human and animal? Even vegetarians are serial killers for that matter since the distinction between animal and plant is also blurry.

Soldiers are legal serial killers who are commissioned by the government. The line between a civilian and a terrorist is especially hazy.

The real question is: Are you violent? Most people are, which leads to the results we see today.

You can't be violent if you have True Compassion. But people are not ready to go there yet, because they have become bitter and need someone to pay for it.

If you deconstructed reality, why would it follow that you become a serial killer? What would you gain from that unless you already had the inner workings of a serial killer hypothetically? It is a pretty big leap in logic.

If you look at serial killers historically, serial killers typically suffer from mental illnesses and derive a sense of power, money or a desired experience from murder. Mystecism has nothing to do with it.

Killing people in cold blood is so repugnant that if you're actually going to do it, there's a lot more involved to that than deconstructing reality. There's some kind of twisted emotional trauma element which has, ironically, not be deconstructed.

You can jailbreak your mind but you'd still need some compelling reason to go out of your way to murder people. It's just a dumb way to live.

@Leo Gura To be honest, when i think about it, i like the thrill of it and i'm also passionately curious about the effects it will have on my mind and consciousness. It's like a feeling of escaping the matrix.

Contemplate what is violence, what is murder. It is nothing to do with Ghandi or Buddha or Jeffrey Dahmer.

And am I a violent murderer?

Truth told, I am chicken - just like you.

People slaying is the only meaningful existence.

You haven't arrived until only one is right and one is left.

Inquire on why people do what they do. It will lead you to the answer to your question. From my experience when you live the way (Tao), you treat other people and life with more respect and dignity because you see it is a part of you, even if you see everyone has a different agenda and direction, you want to see everyone live up to their true potential even if they may be astray, and see harm only justified when it’s the only thing someone may understand.
