@Leo Gura Yeah I know that about the government in the events of slow moving day to day stuff in an environment where things matter months and years down the line. But when there's an active oligarchy forming right in front of their eyes, putting a fire everywhere around them, its almost shocking how asleep they are when this in particular is happening.

US doesn't want human manufacturing it's banking on robotic manufacturing. It destabilizes the global market but it's market is still the most solid around. EU is in a terrible position for the next 10+ years its electricity production is 2-3x more expensive than the US/china in a world where it's the most in demand commodity with the new AI economy.

Those of us with our heads on straight are certainly trying - 5.2 million people took to the streets over the weekend for the nationwide 'Hands Off' protests, which is about %1.5 of the entire population of the United States (the largest single day of protest in American history). These will only continue to snowball as the weather gets nicer and Americans are crushed beneath the Trump Tariffs. Bernie Sanders is drawing crowds of tens of thousands of people to town halls all across the country in a year that's NOT an election.

You don't revitalize a democracy that's been rotting from within over a weekend, but I can tell you as someone who's lived here for 37 years I've seen much more civic participation in the past 2 months than I have in the past two decades.

Literally my computer ChatGPT would be a better US president than Donal Trump. It's fucking obnoxious. I'm outraged. Making Trump president again is like giving a baby a loaded gun in a room full of people, while he just wants to be the king of the kindergarten. It's the end of the US global power, america is not gonna be first anymore, China is gonna take the lead and we'll all live by their values before we are even aware. That in the best case scenario, in the worse we have WW3. You better start contemplating that possibility very seriously. I've already done some plans just in case. You gotta have a safety emergency plan, better to have it and not needed than to need it and not have it in the middle of mass hysteria.

So what happens when the 90 days are up? Is his entire way of trying to accomplish anything that of a spoils child? Throwing stuff on the ground, throwing a tantrum, going on a power trip. people said he will be cold and calculated but he just seems unhinged now to an even greater degree.
