Russell Brand Charged With Rape In UK

173 posts in this topic

@Lyubov I think in the end it all comes down to consent. Of course we are aware of this dynamic, I love being dominated, tied up and controlled in bed. But when I’ve consented to it, we women can only surrender when we see that the men has mastery over his own darkness, otherwise it’s rape, and the line is very clear. When men rape they are taken over by their own darkness, it’s unconscious of course, most likely because they’ve been abused, that’s why they defend themselves, like Leo said, they don’t even know they did it, they are so lost in self deception that they really think they are not guilty. Someone needs to be responsible for their lack of self control and for the abuse of the women, that’s why the law is pretty inflexible when it comes to rape. May it continue this way.

@Elliott they cant see that, for them to see our perspective only with psychedelics or incarnating as a woman.
I think men who debate with women emasculate themselves. They are supposed to protect us, not fight us.
But as we are seeing, they can’t even protect us from themselves. It’s just sad.

@carterfelder you said it yourself, Russell is obnoxious, but I understand you don’t have the courage or capacity to look deeply into it and I respect your limitations.

I have more important things on my To Do List. I would love to look into the cases, but there are more important things. If Brand is found guilty in court, he should be punished. It's not very nice to go around telling people they don't have the courage or capacity to look deeply into something. I would say everyone has the courage and capacity, even if they didn't. Encouragement is a good thing.

Arabia, a gun was to my head. My point was that I was being forced to judge his case within seconds. ;)

Forced to judge his case at gunpoint could also result in your saying he's innocent. You didn't say you were forced to say he was guilty. Anyway, this isn't about Diddy and I get your point.

I have read more into the Daddy Poof case than Russell Sports Brand’s. I would say innocent for Brand at gun point, purely because I know nothing about it. I wouldn’t be proud of it at all.

Its actually really hard for guys to understand the seriousness of rape as well, they tend to think "if a woman raped me, i would like it!", instead they should think of a reality where it was common that gay gang bangers went around raping guys.

@Elliott Lmao i guess if the guy is gay he'll be fine with it like this example doesn't really hold because straight men won't like being raped by gay men. However most women love having sex with men, so it's different.

Gay men don't usually rape women, so I think it works.

Consider a world where it was common for closeted tough guys to invite guys over for weed and video games and then rape them.

Or offer a blunt in an alley, and then rape them, or feel them up.

They just walk up to men, make a light joke, then kiss them. A closeted tough gay guy that you think will kick your ass.

And by the way, sex is painful for women if they're not wet.

What's so hard in understanding violation. It's not hard; it's that some men think most women see sex the same way they do. It's mostly purely physical for men while with women it's more emotional and psychological.

Men they like and are sexually attracted to.

I am not surprised that Russell Brand has been charged with rape even though he’s an A list celebrity with extreme levels of charisma. He has had a really fucked up past including having been a raging addict. Plus, he’s bipolar and I am sure that he has a very deluded sense of self. Not to mention how much he’s been brainwashed by various conspiracy theories, Trumpism/MAGA, and echo chambers/epistemic bubbles that align with his own strange views of the word.

Sadly, I am not sure though that enough people in the world will care about him raping women.  Too many people in this day and age including those in western governments don’t care about anything else besides their own finances, affordability, financial success, status, power, etc. Hell, they don’t even trust any news information unless it’s coming from their own echo chambers/epistemic bubbles that they are so comfortable in. Just like how a majority of Americans didn’t care about all of the crimes that Trump committed and elected him president again.

Most men would have sex with women they're not really attracted to or like, at all.

No they wouldn’t. Most men want some level of attraction.

In a girlfriend, not a female rapist. I didn't say want.
