You don't need to prove it. The accusation itself is the punishment. Not saying that he is innocent but the way these accusations work even if he isn't guilty he is guilty. For the life of me I don't understand why a woman would wait to tell the police. "I was ashamed to go to the police" seems played out. Maybe they need to come up with different degrees of rape. Like it was the position of power rape or was it the alleyway black eye rape or somewhere in between

Interesting. So if he's guilty, then fair enough. But if this a false claim, im just wondering what kind of grudge someone was carrying for 20 years to finally take revenge like this.

There is a definite generational divide with this topic.

The old-school mentality often relied on the so-called assumptive close - the idea that "what I want is obviously going to be good for both of us," with no need for questions, discussion, or checking in.

The newer perspective is the opposite: consent is active, ongoing, and must be sought at every stage.

In the old-school frame, someone might already be in bed with a partner before any clear yes or no has been given. Today, that kind of behavior could well be grounds for a rape charge.

If Brand fell into the category of men who rape because they like to rape, he would have been in prison long time ago. Anyway, lets see what happens in court. I just don't see him as the type.

🤦‍♀️ Do not use logic to understand rape as a male, you guys have not experienced it from the female perspective so you know nothing about this subject.

Most women experience the freeze response and so Russell probably didn’t even know he was raping them. Rape is not A violent struggle most of the time, she will say no at the beginning and then give up.

Women all over the world are ashamed to go to the police because of social backlash which is extremely real. People will blame her for it. And her whole life she’s Condition to avoid conflict and would ratter die then face the emotional struggle of prolonged social struggle.

It is also very difficult to convict because you need DNA evidence most of the time.

Then you need to re-explain fresh horrific traumatic memories over and over again to bunch of people who half of them don’t believe you.

The last thing a woman wants to do is fight. Instead she wants to lay down and die because she was just emotionally destroyed By life.

Women are hyper sensitive they’re not like men.
