Pick up mindset that works for me

When approaching sex and dating it helps to realize that sex and dating implies reproduction. Sex/dating assumes the subconscious risk of 18+ years of child care. Evolution tricks us into having sex and isn't just a hedonist persuit. Yes other things are implied too but reproduction is one of nature's top priorities. We would be here if it wasn't. 

You may wonder how this helps my mindset when approaching relationships. I'm much more sober and conscious of what I'm doing and why. If you are fully conscious of the risks than not only is the activity more fun you are less desperate for sex. Desperation is usually a turn off for people. 

This is something I wish I realized when younger and I hope it helps someone. If you see dating merely a persuit of pleasure you are missing the bigger picture in my opinion.

Thanks for the insight. My main goal is to have fun, connect with others, get phone numbers and move things along, but keeping this in the back of my mind will for sure help. Appreciate it homes!

Im 36 and married. 

To become less desperate realize that 20 min of sex is simply not worth the potential 18+ years of financial and emotional child support.

Focus on enjoying spending time with women and people. The better you get at being a fun conversationalist the more women will throw themselves at you. (Read "how to make friends and influence people" Dale Carnegie) Because on the subconscious level women know if they get pregnant she could be forced to spend alot of time with you and so will the future kids. So you might as well be fun to be around.
