God says I can't have certain kinds of fun?

In Conversations with God 4, God says highly evolved societies live without violence of any kind, which includes any entertainment.

I want to be highly evolved, but doing so I'll give up my passion for reading fantasy/sci-fi, the enjoyment of most movies and tv shows, and a lot of entertainment. I really wanna follow what God said but I'm so reluctant to give up one of my favourite things in life. I think my life's enjoyment would dramatically plummet if I followed God's advice.

Surely fictional violence can't be a big deal right? It does no lasting damage to you beyond when you're consuming the media and it's not going to make me a violent person. Perhaps my children but I wouldn't show them such images until they got old enough to control themselves.

Get the stick out of your ass and live a little.

Don't forget, you don't live in a highly evolved society and you never will. So don't act like it.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

If I were you I would foget everything anyone has said completely. Imagine that everyone is a delusional schizophrenic and that you live in a special mental institution for cases of incurable and absolute stupidity and insanity. The only possible guide is within you, not in schizophrenics. But don't forget that also you are schizophrenic.

Good luck with trying to evolve without passion ;)

Revisiting this episode so not to get black pulled about society. We create reality so why not enjoy?

The crazy reality about God is that such Infinite love fully accepts how I am and how reality is.

There's no part of reality which God is not fully conscious and fully in Love and fully it.

Once you realise God; is the moment one is truly free to live.

One's tastes evolve surely but not through repression but through intelligence and consciousness. It's just not for me, one would say.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

Think for yourself don’t allow others to think for you

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

From Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching:

Nature is unkind: It treats the creation like sacrificial straw-dogs.

The Sage is unkind: He treats the people like sacrificial straw-dogs.

I would wager it means violent entertainment.

In general avoid anything that is mindless, dehumanizing and hyper-stimulating.

When you read, contemplate deeply what violence and entertainment really mean and how if ever they can be beneficial.

AI can assist in this.
