Money. I just turned down a beautiful intelligent girl because I can't afford it, she had three kids and as I was planning the date, I just thought to myself I can barely afford the date so I cancelled.

If your turning women down, that means they like you. Simply plan the kind of dates you can afford right now. Instead of a fancy restaurant go to a coffeeshop on a saturday morning etc. I can feel your frustration. Find creative ways to influence the amount of connection and fun you experience on a daily basis.
