WTF is Blasphemy

@Leo Gura I know your position on this. But, most major Theistic religions have prohibitions against blasphemy.

The same 10 commandments that say "Thou shall not make idols" also says "Thou shall Not Take God's name in vain"

But, if you also say all religion has a Kernel of Truth to it, why Blasphemy?

I had a psychotic break from fear of blasphemy. It drove me nuts and I almost killed myself.

I just don't understand it.

It's the preservation of POWER. People, or thought-forms, who rule the minds of those afraid to think for themselves stand to gain by silencing those who do think for themselves because their ideas threaten their power, so they in turn are threatened with eternal hellfire and damnation. My opinion is when you say something untrue of God. Like if someone says God hates you, or santa sneaks into your house and gives you presents cause he loves you and is your best friend.

Difference you could say haha God murdered you

Blasphemy God murdered you cause you were a dumb bitch

There are times the word blasphemy has come to mind and I have said it but I cant remeber the context. I just know when I hear it cause the word comes to mind.

Not lying or getting something wrong but making something up to hurt someone and deliberately shrink their imagination.

Pretty much the entire christian narrative is blasphemy. Coming from the pov of someone with Christian experiences.

Society like it is is a form of blasphemy.

Factory farming.

Probably other religions I am not familiar with.
