I am convinced by now that the ultimate spiritual stumbling block is Authority.

Worldly authority hipnotizes you and makes you blind. The way it operates is by offering you security, prestige, material success, attention, advice, money and other things to trap you into asking for more. The more you ask from a projected authority, the more enslaved you become.

The way to free yourself is by stop asking things from authority.

You are, as @Leo Gura has said, The Ultimate Authority. The shift in my consciousness is clear.

Yes! It's such an important insight. One of my all time favourites is the Authority episode, as good as it gets.

Although, have you seen how you put your authority in Christianity or religion? How you give your authority to scientist and science? Etc.

Society is basically primarily comprised of unintelligent dumbasses. Easy solution: don't buy into societies premise and frame. Society is like one giant shit test like from pickup/game. 

Society tells you where to go, what to do, who to be, when to be happy, when to be sad and how to be successful. When really it only gets its power if you give it attention. When society tells me how to be and it's wrong, I give it the finger. When it tells me how to be and I do research and find that it's correct, I do the correct thing on my own and thank it. But ultimately it will try to force you into situations. Also, just to clarify, I'm not talking about the law, although that too, I'm primarily talking about social areas of society. But it's all interconnected and linked anyway.

It's very refreshing to hear intelligent people saying intelligent things here. Breath of fresh air tbh...without it I would literally start thinking "surely everyone around me in my life can't be a dumbass, if I'm the only one seeing it, it must be a problem with me." Having comm.s like actualized helps me see that actually my recognition it actually right, and that it's quite normal to be completely surrounded by morons 95% of the time in general society. UK and US looks bad ATM.
