Is Meditation BS?

@Leo Gura I see, thank you.

Also, do you still find value in doing 20 min / 30 min / 1 hour of meditation daily, on top of long sessions that you do on weekends and retreats? Or do you think that short daily practice is not necessary?

I do daily meditation on and off just because I like to retreat into stillness. I often combine meditation with contemplation. The stillness helps me focus and get into a contemplative flow, away from the noise of the day.

For some people a bit of daily mediation is effective. Personally for me it does not produce progress. People's brains work different. Find what works on you.

@Leo Gura what's your motivation then if you lose the consciousness state after a retreat anyway? New insights? But you had so many deep awakenings on psychedelics a retreat cannot compete with that.

The ultimate goal is to unlock new permanent baseline shifts. But this requires hardcore effort. It won't happen easily.

I will do whatever I need to to raise my baseline state.

You say there is no change in consciousness left after hundreds of breakthroughs on psychedelics?

There's definitely changes in me. The changes are subtle but significant. The change is not as radical as being on a psychedelic 24/7. That's a wrong expectation.

A very worthwhile endeavour.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

@Leo Gura Yes me too, it's very subtle. I don't know if psychedelic produced neurogenesis has an effect on my brain. I feel more flexible in terms of perspectives and more emotional intelligent and more open-minded for sure.

Psychedelics made many permanent shifts in my consciousness. My experience of reality is quite fluid. Everything breathes for me in my everyday life, it's quite beautiful and mystical. Like a low dose is always on but I see it more as just being more aware.

I stumbled on an old post from you recently from year 2020:

"I've done over 100 trips and feel no brain damage. My brain is working just fine. Better even, thanks to increased awareness and understanding of things."

I ask me if after some hundred trips more you would hold on to this statement?

I have experienced brain damage, thanks to my health chronic problems. But I'm still smarter than 98% of public intellectuals.

@Leo Gura ok so the cause are not psychedelics.

It could be the case that experience an body related health problem like an infection or something and taking psychedelics during this time can interfer the healing process and make it worse. Body could be overwhelmed so that it shows signs to rest ( burnout/Tinnitus/sleep issues) but I could be completely wrong about that.

Cause was psychedelics interacting with a chronic health condition.

Yeah as I described, not psychedelics alone.

Iinteresting that psychedelics have the power to heal and damage the body depending on the condition.

That's true of any chemical. It's all about the right balance.

Something to do with Hashimoto's or another chronic health problem?

Most people actually meditate to feel good, not for Truth.

These are the same thing. The more you are aligned with truth, the more of your ego BS you shred, the better you feel.
