I want to live in a world where you can go to your standard psychologist and say "I'm so successful and accomplished in life, but yet I feel so empty inside and I'm longing for something more but I don't know what it is, and I'm an open person who takes in new ideas and sensitive to subtler aspects of life", and the psychologist answers "have you tried enlightenment?"

Enlightenment would probably be overkill.

You don’t need enlightenment to find more meaning in your life.

"Finding your reason can be so deceiving, a subliminal place.

I will not break, 'cause I've been riding the curves of these infinity words and so I'll be on my way. I will not stay.

And it goes On and On, On and On"

Would you like self expansion or self contraction, self help or self halt.

The former is the material path, the latter is the spiritual path.

The former makes you a god among men, the latter makes you a man among gods.

In my estimation, the former suits the first half of life and the latter befits the second half.

This depends on one's inclinations and disposition and so the timing aspect is personal preference.

Think about it and let me know which you care to undertake.

What if identifying with the ego was considered a mental illness which needed to be treated with psychedelics?

I doubt we’ll live long enough to experience this. If the climates change doesn’t kill us this will probably happen in the future as society evolves

“Did you ever say Yes to a single joy? O my friends, then you said Yes to all woe as well. All things are chained and entwined together, all things are in love; if ever you wanted one moment twice, if ever you said: ‘You please me, happiness! Abide, moment!’ then you wanted everything to return!” - Friedrich Nietzsche

Reincarnate in 500 years, maybe then...

This assumes the person doesn't work with art. Consider that, a time will come in life where only god will ever satisfy you and nothing else. I mean it's already the case because, any seeking or action of any kind is you seeking love; but you understand what I mean.
