@AION Leo Gura is such a rare gem. His political takes are amazingly incredible. I appreciate his advice on more down to earth domains like dating, business and health. His ideas of more abstract and spiritual stuff shouldn't be swallowed blindly. As he advices his teachings are grist for your  thinking/Contemplation mill not gospel. His ideas are radical and incomparable which make it very tricky for us to inquire.

Hey man, it was fun reading this.

Taking a long hiatus from the forum, coming back here and there.. A lot of these points are pretty obvious once articulated.

 

But I am curious.

Where did the idea to do this come from?

Did you notice any conversations that didn't fit within the frame you expected to find?

Like me; if I see/attract people (or at least their side) who are narcissistic and aggressive, it's not a projection at all; it's an objectiiiiiiiiive reality.

If one interacts in any place only to test people and play this dual games, what would  you expect? 

Good for you. You have now your "Proof" that the Forum is all that you said and you justfied for yourself the reasons for your good bye. This happens in relationships, where a boyfriend or a girlfriend shit test their partners to check of they are really True  and then by the very shittesting they annoy their partners and create the very break up. Basicaly they create that to themselfs by acting in calcularions instead on true clean relating.

It is definitely something to think about. That is true.  I was actually bogged down in SD green for a very long time and by studying others, I got out of it. Jungian psychologists would have a field day in this safari/forum haha.

This forum is amazing if you are into psychedelics but obviously there is SD green bias and there is nothing wrong with that as long as one acknowledges it.

If you're on a personal development site, it's probably because you're already deep in a narcissistic journey and hoping that spirituality will transform you into someone great or give you something. And I say this while completely agreeing with the science of the law of attraction and the construction of maya in general.
But excessive attachment to childish narcissism creates a tendency toward inertia, and this generates frustration, especially when this attachment was motivated by bad early experiences.

Functional people, without strong narcissistic tendencies, don't feel the need to "develop" themselves; it makes no sense.
They do what's logical, which is to work, have social relationships, and do activities, and if there's a problem, they seek medical help.

It's a bit like "looksmax"; Normal people simply call it "maintaining yourself," lol, or in the most extreme cases, cosmetic surgery.
But there are people who suffer from excessive narcissism and think it's something special, enough to make a term out of it.

If you weren't a narcissist yourself, you wouldn't have made this thread; it's a covert attempt to divide the world between you and others (assholes).
And at the same time, it's the mirror effect.

Calling someone a narcissist = narcissistic behavior.
Calling someone an asshole = asshole behavior.
Saying "He's so cocky!" = You're cocky.

Etc.

Why would anyone join a forum where the only requirement for membership is to have a pulse and be able to come up with a password, and then perform an elaborate experiment to prove the posters aren’t up to his standards?

@Shodburrito I don't take any insult from your post. I just do my bare minimum spiritual practice which is not intellectual work at many times.

If you are genuine about this work, why do you need this forum anyways.

This forum has many purposes. This is a social circle for people that pursue not only enlightenment and people who feel out of place because the values they hold are not recognized locally.

I don't underestand your frustration. People will say what they want to say, it's where they are. Are you really projecting some kind of elitism? Even stupid people can be spiritual if they do different kind of practices. It's not just intellectual.

I felt the dog story was fake. Was going to say it, but didn't want to offend if I was wrong. I forgot exactly what made me feel that, but somethings just didn't add up. Infact, I believe someone, maybe Ulax, suggested that too but no one cared much to address that. Don't knock him for doing it though as it was an experiment which he admits now to conducting. Try not to feel taken advantaged of or that you were fooled, because experiments are just that, experiments, and some need to do that to work or supposedly for the experimenter. 

As far as the other points and comments in the post, it's a matter of personal opinion which you're entitled to even though you did raise some good points. There will always be people agreeing and disagreeing with everything, so that's nothing new. My feeling is that when we start to expect things from life, disappointment follows. Life is neutral and we make of it what we make of it. There isn't any place for everyone, and we just have to move on with what doesn't resonate. 

I wish you all the best and hope you find a community that you more resonate with.

@Shodburrito the problem in all of your posts is you're not Steelmaning the position. You start off with a false Foundation of what the opposing party's worldview is. And then you build off of that so the whole thing is completely off the mark.

Take one of Leo's videos, Steelman it and then add your perspective.
