How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

@integral if you`ve liked Mushishi, you would probably like this. Though not spiritual per se, it`s really creative and has a philosophical vibe to it.

Mushishi is good depending on your temperament, mood and place in life.

There's so many good anime, doe most of them were made before 2015

I can't recommend one because I don't really know what your preferences are

If it relates to spirituality then I would definitely like it.

Mushishi is fantastic. It relates more to nature as a mystical force and how humans cope with tragedy and loss.

I felt that Gurren Lagann has a strong spiritual component especially towards the end. It's kind of hard to put into words and I don't want to start spoiling, but it relates to like a supreme fearlessness and self-sacrifice on a spiritual level.

Gurren Lagann was a bro anime to it's core. I don't believe it was spiritual per say, but It had quite strong human values at it's base. But I remember the dream section by the end was quite sad and "spiritually" profound in a way, especially for Viral. I enjoyed the show.

Also, Frieren could be considered a half spiritual show, but with a more melancholic mood. I know that quite often media can get overhyped, but this one completely deserved #1 spot on my anime list website.

Not true. Anime is still as great as its ever been. Demon Slayer (2019) is a generational anime, especially the Mugen Train film (2020). That's peak cinema! Plus My Hero Academia (2016), Cyberpunk Edgerunners (2022), not to mention the the 3rd and 4th seasons of Attack on Titan (2019 to 2023)

Demon Slayer (2019)

Why did the author have to make them all schizophrenic though? Like, you have demons in this world but fire swords are a no-no?
I don't know I only made it through the first half of season one with my ex, I heard the upcoming trilogy is going to be generational as well though so I might get back into it.

A masterpiece in storytelling.
