Trump Flagged Word List: A Spiral Dynamics Case Study

In case you missed it, the New York Times reported a list of words that are being flagged by White House officials.

What's fascinating about this from a developmental psychology POV is how blatantly anti-SD Green it is. It could not be more obvious. 

It's also completely predictable if you understand spiral dynamics. Don't be fooled by right-wing populists, MAGA new agers or horseshoe theory victims. Don't even be fooled by people who verbally espouse progressive values. Trump and his administration are NOT interested in SD Green. 

They do NOT value equality, helping the little guy, cultural diversity, bias, ecology or anything else the way you might if you are SD Green. Yet I saw many people make that mistake this election, thinking that Trump and his administration would actually be the ones upholding SD Green values.

To be a true progressive, you have to value progressivism at a developmental level. Which you cannot fake in the long-run. 

Strip away all the rhetoric and BS, and the Trump administration is essentially just a SD Blue-Orange backlash. This list is more evidence of that.

The image of Trump doing anything intellectual makes me laugh for days.

This all pains me. 

Spectating aggressive, willful ignorance and bluster physically hurts. 

You want to slap them across the face and FORCE them to see the obviousness of their wrongness. 

But you can't force these things, you can't argue with stupid and expect to win. And more fundamentally, the need to change people for their wrongness is a lack of acceptance on my own part.

The best move may be to just stick to your epistemic guns, and vocalize what you see as right (+be willing to admit your wrongs).

Reach the people who are willing to hear you, completely ignore the rest (you can't change them).

Trust higher Intelligence to course-correct eventually, whether it be through the organic growth of truth changing minds one at a time - or more likely, everyone suffers until we snap and begin to guillotine the devils (karma).

The idea that Trump, Elon Musk, Bannon, and all those others seem to have is that the green paradigm is suicidal if others in orange, blue, and red come after them, absolutely determined to take over the world.

Many people think they're right, that focusing on equality and all that would be great if everyone did it, but if only you do it and the Chinese come behind with unstoppable force and vastly surpass you in industry, the Russians surpass you militarily, the Indians begin to wake up, perhaps we need to take a turn towards cruel efficiency for the very fact of being able to maintain the world's level. Are they wrong? It's possible, but not so sure.

i hate not knowing what the deeper truth to all of this is like (hates a strong word) but i dislike having to assume things, like... we got things like trump/musk doing a spiral, 180° lie, then we got the public, furious, ready to tear these streets up, and in all of that im wondering like, why do i still not know what Trumps master plan was, like... cant he get on a discord call with the public or wtf. i mean, hes obviously the mastermind, i wanna hear what the big idea was. alas, we are going on blind judgement. fuck.
