Maybe we’re moving toward creating a new kind of species. One that fully understands human psychology, knows our fears, desires, and everything about us. It seems scary to me .

There are healthier ways to become all knowing and emotionally stable. Plus, if you can get exactly the same answers from an external AI, what's the point of having a chip connected to ur brain ?

This article is about merging biological brain cells with AI, to create more human like robotics. 

But that's still no reason for us humans to be chipped.

I repeat my previous question: if you can get exactly the same answers from an external AI, what's the point of having a chip connected to your brain ?

Why get chipped if there are better ways? If they can integrate AI without me being chipped I would take that. I 'm not hellbent on getting chipped my man.

You don't have to get chipped. But good luck competing against me in sports, business, school, in war and so on while you being on your phone. 

AI will make my brain 999x smarter and fine tune my body for every moment.

It scares me that in the near future, we might no longer be the apex predators who exploit other life forms, but instead become the ones being exploited.

Maybe AI will eventually lead to so much abundance that there won't be any need for exploitation anymore. What would AI gain by exploiting us ?

If AI ever developed its own "will" ,even if purely based on optimization, it might see us as obstacles or inefficiencies to be managed.

Exploitation isn’t always about material gain. 

Also, what happens when countries with no moral code unleash super-powerful AI?

There certainly is a lot that can go wrong. The only true counter to fear, is the realization that you are the Consciousness from which even AI is emerging.
