Precisely. You have a choice to make. You can corrupt your schemas, or you can preserve it. If kept preserved, you’re less likely to fail at being monogamous. Corrupting yourself to awaken lust is not worth it. What baffles me is when you’re on the straight path, too many want to bring you down with them. Non-stop gaslighting about how you’re sexually repressed, an oddball, not a man, missing out, will be unable to keep a woman because of your lack of experience, and so on and so forth. When really the partner you want, wouldn’t care about your lack of experience. They create and maintain an environment and culture, on top of actively attempting to shame you down to their level, in order for everyone to be like them—unable to do the most basic thing the average human has the capacity to do, which is delaying gratification. Just look at the poster 2 posts above me, why does he care about what you choose to do with your body? Why is he shaming you? If you see the benefit in your values and ability to refrain from these things on a problematic level, that society falsely attempts to brainwash you to believe is unrealistic because you’re an animal with a chimp brain and blah blah blah, then there is nothing wrong with coming to this realization.

I think the solution is to realize and truly see, through deep contemplation on your life experience, that you have actually been the source of pleasure all along. Like Ralston says - you are doing it, dummy. And that is also a portal to waking up from the dream. Otherwise you might just remain, stuck in samsara, always looking for more.

Marriage itself won't be the cure, but rather the impetus to have a deep realization that you have been the source of pleasure all along. We are meant to go through different seasons in life. To mature a bit so to speak. The point is, if you want to have a healthy marriage, if you so choose, then you need to find a way to let go of youthful habits, otherwise it will become a dysfunctional relationship. Which is why it's probably a better idea to get married later in life, like in one's 40's for example.

Sexual morality is very important in your life, otherwise it will destroy your legacy as a man. It destroys a lot. The thing is you can't surrender to it but you can't kill it either. You have to find healthy way to express your love, affection and lust which requires inner work. Love is a much powerful emotion than lust. I don't even take people serious who haven't mastered their lust because it is a deep character flaw and not fixable without a divine spark. Most people have to reach the bottom and even then they won't be able to produce the wisdom.

But, do you think that when you are 40+ you are ging to atract them?

 

So if you are banging a lot of hot chicks now I get it. Dont get into a relationships now.

But if you find a special one in a few years? Why not? Everything is a tradeoff, and like I said, when you are old, even if you find young hot women atreactice, they wont feel the same about you.
