Recently discovered the pool next to me is free to swim!

Our community also has a pool that is accessible for all members, but the damn kids keep pooping in it, so it’s always temporarily closed for maintenance >:(

Then why have all these inteligent geniuses never exercised while it's always meatheads who have low IQ. I'm not buying it.

Imo it’s because there is a difference is doing something basically and it being your purpose.

Exercise is important to basic health. Go to any elite uni and ill expect they’ll have things all over campus encouraging students to exercise.

Lol we were not "designed to exercise". We just did whatever was needed to survive, if that required chasing down an antilope or a mammoth, then that's what we did. We never did even an ounce more than what was required of us to survive, and at large we used the rest of the time to do nothing and be lazy.

Nowadays we have no real motivators like that (survival based), they're gone completely. Thus all these attempts at promoting exercise always feel rather empty. What does even "potential" mean in this case - that throught enough exercise you can.... do more and better exercise? LOL

Absolutely agree with the importance of exercise.
Just want to mention that depending on what type of physical activity you do, daily exercise may not be recommended.

When I used to run a lot and do calisthenics, I indeed trained 6-7 days a week.

However, for powerlifting you need to take breaks, otherwise you can injure yourself. I did 3x4 365lbs bench yesterday and am not hitting it again until 2-3 days later.

No, good diet and being out in nature and getting enough sun is what's actually crucial for your health. Exercise is just a coping mechanism we've created in the modern age to offset all the "privileges" we've made for ourselves, such as sitting in an office, scrolling phone endlessly to see what's new in the social media matrix, having access to plentifull of tasty low quality food, breathing toxic car fumes, and plenty of other such priviliges.

Notice that I never claimed that you shouldn't exercise. You'll never find such a thing in my previous posts. But hyping it so much is kinda cringe, especially justifying it by some numbers and percentages pulled from ass basically. Diet and sunlight exposure in nature is the king, not exercise.

Try eating healthy and bathing in sunlight and not moving your legs for 30 days, see how that works out.

You'll literally be underdeveloped without physical activity. Exercise is for geniuses.

Isnt intense exercise good for heart and lung health, building that vo 2 max or whatever its called, when you go to your own limit? Not like David goggins but intense for your own standard

Maybe idk tbh.

I just quickly became interested in the effects on the endocrine system.

I like him too, he's one of a kind, but I kinda find him too extreme in a way, like once he ran so hard he pissed blood got kidney failure and rhabdo . Courtney is less extreme but she still goes extremely hard. I find her attitude to life cool and what she does. Ive heard she is considered one of the best ultra runners, at least female ones

I don't like the purely destructive effect; I find it just masochistic.
If I were to become a world-class athlete, it would be a combat sport or bodybuilding.

Yeah obviously if you take it to that extreme the nerves in the parts of your body which are staying stationary will start to deaden very soon, and then progressively worse and worse effects which we all probably know about will manifest themselves later on.

I guess my ultimate point is to listen to your body and mind, and do the kind and the ammount of physical activity that soothes both the best in your specific case

If I stop exercising for a week, I show signs of dementia and chronic muscoloskeletal pain.

When I started doing sport regularly I was surprised how happy I became. Like doesn't matter how intelligent or awake you are, body still neads care.

Simplifying, health has two pillars:

  1. Nutrion
  2. Sport

Those two duties one must perform.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

Intuitively intense exercise seems good to me. I’ve gotten much better conditioning because of it

It is a bit masochistic what they do yes. Courtney has said in an interview she ENJOYS that place they get to go to in ultra running where it “hurts really bad” she has ran so hard she cried of pain even. She’s crazy yes. David Goggins is the craziest.

Pro bodybuilding lowkey looks ridiculous but each to their own. Combat sport seems masochistic and sadistic lol. That’s kinda crazy too. If I’d be an elite athlete it be long jump or something
