@Leo Gura The girl I have into my life right now, It's solely because of LFA. From him I got intel on how to behave in order to get a girlfriend, and because of him I understood how to keep my relationship healthy! Because of him I became 1000 times more mature than before discovering him. Keep in mind that because of Covid i've been impotent for almost 4 years and because I've developed maturity and genuine behaviour towards my GF, she still hasn't left me. I owe that to LFA that I still have a GF despite being impotent.

Good looking guys can be worse at game because they get away with bad behaviour. I am pretty good looking but I was wearing an unimaginable bad haircut a few years ago (I am not joking I disfigured myself) and so I got a lot less attention. That made me more hungry and bold. When I got a decent haircut back everyone was way nicer to me and I got some smiles here and there and couldnt help but soften up. That was all my biological brain rewiring. I was more comfortable in that fight mode though.

Not sure when I was better at game though, I never gamed much in either state. I think it might be more easy to be yourself when you are good looking but I am not sure, thats a complex and counterintuitive topic perhaps - you definitely learn better with what you get away with and not when you are less good looking.

From what I saw LFA just seemed like another mgtow / redpill coach who just speculates in front of a camera. Maybe he matured since then but I remember he had one video ranting about women that was entirely based on one woman giving him a mean look.

Owens game advice is based in experience and far more nuanced. I don’t think even Leo appreciates the depth of his insights in this area when I compare his program to Leo’s htgl series.

Do you agree that looks are at least 50% part of the equation? Pickup guys I know don't want to admit this. They call me a blackpiller which I'm actually not lol.

Of course Owen has way more experience in game than me.

However Owen rarely even talks about the mechanics of game anymore. He was always thin on the mechanics, which are actually way more important than his high philosophy. Game requires being super practical.

That’s because in his game era he wanted to focus on foundational principles that make game occur naturally

My understanding of the looks matter has evolved. I want to make a video about it. But also I feel people will misuse the video, so I'm stuck.

Not buying it.

I have studied so much different pickup content from dozens of teachers.

I can conclusively tell you that Owen's approach was too philosophical to be useful. Much more practical steps are needed for newbies.

The reason Owen does philsophical topics is because the practical stuff is saved for paid courses and coaching. He doesn't want to give it away. And also because if he gave away all the practical stuff, there would be nothing left to teach.

The problem for Owen is that there is not endless stuff to talk about in game. Yet he milks the topics endlessly for content.

You could make a single course that teaches a guy everything practical about game. But then you'd be out of business.

Milking this content endlessly is to the deteriment of students. Game should not be over-complicated and over-philosophized. Game is not philosophy.

Looks only matter if you try to have a very beautiful girlfriend. I am an average looking man, and I've only approached average looking women. If you are very good looking you'd have a greater chance to get a very beautiful girlfriend. To summarise, don't date outside of your league, even if you get the girl, the chance of keeping that relationship is slim. If you are ugly date ugly girls, if you are average date average. Be realistic. But looks isn't the only thing. Having a beautiful character is probably the best looks maxxing tool one can have.

Omg this thread. People like to hate on dating teachers but there’s a sense in which they deserve some kind of humanitarian award.

It is probably worse than being a social worker and doesn’t pay much better either.

This is just wrong, there are lots of components to value besides looks.

If you are rich, extroverted, and socially savvy but average looking you will have an easier time dating the hottest girls than an introverted good-looking guy. 

Context matters a lot too. If you are an average-looking guy in Moldova (or Montreal or New York) you will have an easier time dating a hot girl than a good-looking guy in San Francisco. 

You are right though that the most common reasons guys get frustrated is they try to get girls that are unattainable for them. No amount of marketing or sales tactics can fix a product that is plain overpriced.
