Here’s a plot twist: You’re being a Trump supporter even just by talking or thinking about Trump…

Indeed. He needs consciousness to exist.

Cult monkeys. Why not just give him credit where credit is due is what I don't underestand, why to insult his followers like they are pathological and beyond saving from some kind of negative force.

Look, I respect Sadhguru himself. He is a serious man. But I have also seen his orbiter voulenteers in person. His organization is very culty. Not that they are doing evil things, but they literally worship him and do not think for themselves. This is a problem. So I poke fun of it.

@Leo Gura Theo Von: “The war zone is more inside of me; it’s not on the outside.” That sounds like typical spirituality to me.

Typical spirituality is parroting things.

I consider every so-called spiritual person a fake until proven otherwise. Not the other way around. I am done assuming people know anything.

A spiritual person doesn't know how to tie his shoelaces until I see him do it.

How do they prove it?

I'll know it when I see it.

Someone just posted a video about a girl talking about solipsism and truth. That girl clearly knows what she's talking about.

Real recognizes Real.

You have two options:

1. Find a way to call every trump voter a total loser and brain damaged.

2. Admit that there are very intelligent, concious, well informed people who saw Trump as a better option.

Imagine for a moment, dear friends, that you are Conciousness, and that you have only this one awareness - that you are at peace, and that you are.

I think what he's saying is that non-duality sees everything as spiritual. How can Trump not be a perfect expression of the divine any less than anything else.

Why would you assume that?

These podcast guests do circuits. It's a well-oiled cash machine. Theo Von has people who just book guests for him, and Sadhguru has his cult monkeys who book all his public events.

It's just business. You are attaching some spiritual meaning to it.

But yes, most spiritual people are fools and have the political intelligence of mentally disabled children. This is not news any more.

Sadhguru isn’t going to sit for 2 hours to talk about the Bible.

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

But then if everything is divine so is protesting him, punching him, being annoyed at his supporters and so on.

@PurpleTree

A purple tree would be quite divine.

On a beautiful island, with waves lapping at the shore, and tropical birds singing.

I'm talking about a purple tree, not you.

@Chadders I wouldn’t be so sure about Eckhart Tolle. He seemed to be on the same page as Russel Brand in an interview; Russel Brand endorsed Trump.

Yes I was a bit concerned to see that…

I wouldn’t have pegged him as one to fall into conspiracy but it seems like his sovereignty of mind is starting to get corrupted. It would be a pitty as he was one of the nicer, calmer more gentle teachers if you were the type of person who couldn’t take harsh truths to hard in one go.
my wife liked him but also saw the brand interview and started questioning what happened.

Sure, there are plenty of spiritual Trump supporters. And there are Trump supporters that I have known the are otherwise intelligent.

But there is a lack of wisdom there in the choice to support Trump, even if they have experienced awakening or have an astuteness about other things. And that is because Trump is a system-eroder who only cares about his own power.

The issue with supporting Trump doesn't primarily come from stupidity or lack of higher awareness... though ignorance does play a role.

The issue is that Trump knows how to push people's emotional buttons with simple narratives... and people using mental gymnastics to avoid the awareness that the emperor has no clothes because they are attached to those emotional buttons

For otherwise intelligent people who support Trump, it's 80% emotional attachment to the narratives he spins and what he represents as a leader of a movement combined with 20% strategic ignorance and mental gymnastics to maintain that attachment.

The more complex the mind is, the more deeply a person can delude themselves.

But also, the less complex the mind is, the fewer mental gymnastics people need to do to delude themselves.

And both groups will delude themselves if there is an emotional attachment... especially if that attachment reaches the identity level.

So... this problem can ABSOLUTELY happen in highly intelligent and spiritually awake people as their mind is more able to trick them.

Corruption is such a deep force that most high IQ people are still very corrupt.

High IQ cannot save you from corruption and bias.

The reason people support Trump is because they are corrupt. So corrupt they don't even know what corruption is.

Corruption gravitates towards corruption regardless of all other factors. Corruption is the real master.

Having an Awakening is not enough to understand corruption.

If Theo Von is hosting sadhguru, he must have at least some familiarity with spirituality and consciousness. Why would such people be Trump supporters?

This might be why… I got caught up in it for two years before I de-brainwashed myself and I’m constantly trying to stamp it out of my retreats.

However, there’s a reason why the solid majority of high propensity, highly informed/educated voted against Trump in 2016, 2020, and 2024.

Corruption is doing something wrong and pretending it’s right.

If you're a politician, you are held to a lower standard since you are always acting for your country's interests not your own

unless perhaps you are excessively lining your own pockets.

DT has always managed to deflect such accusations in the past whether rightly or wrongly.

And besides, wrong is a very subjective notion

and when in power lots of wrong things are easily justifiable by seeing the big picture or the greater good.

Trump supporters have a lot in common with Trump's detractors: neither of them has a clue how the world works. They are governed by their emotions, which is supporting those who seem in tune with his simplified ideosyncrasy, in which the good guys are on one side and the bad guys on the other. They are absolutely certain of their forceful statements. Any of them, if given power, would fix this world and turn it into a utopian paradise in a moment. It's very simple: do good and avoid evil.

The most interesting and astonishing thing is that this world, made up of people with the discernment of a chimpanzee, is advancing unstoppably. It's the miracle of cosmic intelligence.
