I am not an absolutist as you see me. I vomited during Isha yoga 3 times thanks to a virus and still came every time back from the toilet to finish the exercise. I am still committed to isha yoga from sadhguru and do it at least every week. However I would be fine if you see me whatever you want. Because when we discuss things about reality and truth, your and others personal preferences to methods and desires how reality should be, shouldnt play a role. 

So I just encourage you to get out of your comfort zone, let go your attachments on whatever guru said to you or whatever you read in all these books should be true. It's not the same as real experience.

If you see others as low consciousness as soon as it contradicts your worldview because it "feels just so wrong" , be open minded that your ego is inventing this to protect you from looking deeper and discovering the truth.

Sometimes, but I think only if the particular truth is within orbit or has been previously glimpsed or if one is prone to deep contemplation + intellectual integrity. I think silence can serve delusion just as much as it can truth.

My point is of course the forum isn't going to be the highest consciousness possible because forums use language and language is distorted. If OP wants higher consciousness then go into silence or short but powerful pointer teachings

It is, i only see who is better at conceptualizing the divine. Starting with the main moderator of the forum. I see this forum more of a cult than anything else. No real meditation or awakening here.

That is what I am trying get You to understand, I've done the research, and now am doing my own thing.. I don't watch spiritually related videos very much anymore, maybe just once a week, I've heard it all, read it all, now its up to me to make it happen or not, so that is what I don't understand about how You respond to what I am saying. In every instance You reference me to some guru or method or whatever, but Your the one that is always telling ppl to take drugs, your the one waiting for Leo to answer Your questions, so who is it that has the problem here.. What You need to do is read what You wrote and take Your own advice...

Yes in the end this is the ticket, I just started this thread because this forum is probably one of the biggest when it comes to discussions on Spiritual topics and such, so newbies coming here have to be forewarned, its not what it seems to be...but Yes, Silence and Stillness are some of the Best Teachers!!!

@Ishanga whenever I read your statements about God, reality, how things should be in your worldview, I see 90% is coming from sadhguru through you. I did the same yoga courses from isha as you probably and watched some good amount of sadhguru until it got too repetitive. For me it sounds you use his terminology, his focus on celebrating life (and not digging too deep), his warnings about psychedelics etc. Almost everything.You can tell me that you have different teachers but it really sounds like you built some typical yoga worldview. And that can make problems, closed minded.

What is triggering you so much that I propagate psychedelic usage? I do it in a responsible way and helped a lot of people here on their way. You yourself have no idea what psychedelics are. You can read 100 reports but that won't help you a bit. Again, put your books and videos away, get some experience. You talk about God as if you have a awakenings already. You just read tons of material and brainwashed yourself with that, thinking you have some authority to speak about. Same with psychedelics. That's not good, expect some corrections from other forum members if you do that.

This is exactly what the "me" does. It goes away because it's not getting what it wants from somewhere or can't find what it's looking for; and when it still doesn't find it elsewhere, it comes back crying like a baby and whining to everybody how they aren't giving it what it's looking for.

For one whole week Deny the "Me", try this experiment! Me is everything that we think we are but are not, but we still have to deal with it, things like Body functions, breathing for example, stop breathing for a week, or toilet or eating, stop working, stop doing, stop providing all that is ME any sustenance, if You do this, and report back here and succeed in reporting back after a week, I will become Your Disciple!!!

Unfortunately Your a Prime example of what I mean by this Thread, Your too identified with an ideology and Absolutism, its that way or nothing, which is very unconscious!!

No, Stupidity as I see it everyday, is just Human Beings not living as Human Beings, or living way below Human nature, more like a bunch of apes just living by accident and instinct, this is a complete waste of life and nothing to do with being a genius...

No complaining, just stating a fact, big difference ppl here can do, believe, understand what they want I don't care about that aspect of their lives, High Consciousness, which in the end will end all the Stupidity of this world is the only solution, so far we seem to be failing miserably!!

I will stay on this forum just to see you keep coming back for more and more and more and never getting anywhere. One cannot deny the me because the me is it's own "entity" so to speak. It doesn't even recognize itself muchless to deny itself. All that you've described above is life appearing as those things, spontaneously. There's no me really doing those things. In fact, there's really no me because it's THIS, whatever it is, appearing as a me. So it's all good. Even all your endless judging and criticizing of people on the forum is THIS appearing as all that. Its just that the experience of me in your case is so unsettling and doesn't feel right, it looks to others to settle itself. Doesn't matter either way as there's no one doing either. I'm a perfect example of what life is doing, thank you very much and it can't be any other way, just as the me cannot stop itself.

Feature request: rename the politics forum to "Low Consciousness Resources". Or to "Stage Green Circle jerk".

Now, as for how to resolve the issue, I make two suggestions:

- Embrace more perspectives.

Leo loves to pretend he values different perspectives but in reality he, and most of the forum users, are more interested in asserting their own perspective than inspecting someone else's. The Politics forum is a perfect example of this.

- Improve online communication.

I can write a long paragraph on a certain topic, and people tend to ignore my overall argument, and focus and nitpick this or that irrelevant detail, leading into a tangent. Online communication is a huge problem of the forum format. People intervene without reading the entire thread. People engage in multiple threads at once (Leo). People decide to make their arguments as succinct as possible, allowing room for misinterpretation. People also decide to start with the point of disagreement instead of the common ground. I could write a post that has multiple premises. Someone might agree with me on 95% of the argument. But instead, they pick the 5% of disagreement and turn that into a debate.

Right now, this forum is at the same level of Consciousness as some left wing subreddit. I find it tragic, really.

I agree for the most part, but it’s very tricky making improvements. The form is designed for it to be a casual discussion and not a rigorous format.

Both have their pros and cons.

I do see a room for improvement specifically that we should follow some kind of epistemology strategy and practice that epistemology.
