Are you boycotting products from specific countries or brands?

14 posts in this topic

Many Canadians right now are boycotting US products. Whisky and such.

Tesla sales are going down.

-60% Germany

-63% France

-75% Spain

I wanted to buy medjool dates but they were all from Israel. So i haven’t done it yet.

I was looking for sneakers that aren’t American. I used to mostly buy Nike but also others (European etc.)

So Asics is Japanese, Adidas is Germans, ON is Swiss

I opted for Lacoste which is French.

I wanted to get a BigMac but didn’t do it because they ambushed my boi Zelensky.

It‘s almost impossible to boycott the US though. Because of Iphone, Android, Google, Whatsapp (which is most widely used in Europe) etc.

Also it’s impossible to not buy made in China. Recently i bought an air cleaner and a juicer made from Philips which is Dutch. But made in China.

I mean i‘m not really serious about it. But it’s fun.

We don't hate Americans, just Trump and his devil friends. They need to be called out for what they are.

I don't go out of my way to boycott anything. I don't want to fuel this needless conflict provoked by a narcissist in the white house.

Plays exactly into their hands to further the needless conflict so that they can then say stuff like "Ukraine started it". It's the exact same game Trump is playing with Canada/Mexico.

Never buying a Tesla that’s for sure. Can’t wait for them BYD and Xiaomis to flood.

I just picked up some pitted medjools. Tastes like candy.

I think pitted means harder and drier?

I love the medjool because they are so soft and fluffy.

Generally speaking boycotting huge corporations by yourself isn’t going to work to make changes, they will probably not notice. Boycotts are supposed to happen in organized fashion specifically targeting vulnerable companies with sets of demands for them.

AFAIK, pitted just means the pit/seed has been removed, so you don't have to worry about breaking your teeth off when you bite into them. The ones I got are super soft. They get harder the older they get but you can soak them in warm water for 20 mins to soften them up again.
