What are the good things that will come out of the Trump administration

37 posts in this topic

So for example in Europe.

Europe basically has to get its ish together and become stronger and more self reliant. Which i hope means its own tech companies (maybe together with Japan, India) and so on

In the US the corruption is really now there for everyone to see. So i think however this administration ends. People will seek for more honesty at some point.

The system (wall street, military industrial complexes, lobbies, Israel, regime changes)

was getting sick so maybe this is the needed reset.

Remember when someone said if Aliens attacked the world the world would stop most infighting? Maybe Trump can be that orange alien.

Also i think it got many things from hidden into the open. Politics were always shady.

Like for example Rogan I listened to him off and on until he basically campaigned for Trump.

I was on Rogans side for a lot of the covid vaccine shite and media beef.

But the way they promoted Trump was just very sneaky imo. Always claiming "i‘m center bro i voted for Sanders“

But then in the election having right winger after right winger. Nobody to make a counter argument. Someone even said the way the interviews were placed is the way AI has predicted it to be the most successful outcome for Trumps election. I actually think Rogan and Jamie didn’t really plan this it was probably the Elon from Mars.

It’s like shadow work, or trying to heal trauma, or questioning beliefs.

You can’t do it if it is hidden. You have to bring it out of the subconscious into the open.

And it will be difficult and it will hurt.

Trump has a way to make Canadians united together. Everytime he gets in office it seems Canadians seem to stop bickering as much and look in horror together .

If the people are smart enough

Complete disillusionment in all of western society from the very beginning to now

Everything else would just be a charade

Even still western society is so much healthier than Chinese, Russian etc.
There is self criticism etc. Different opinions.

Hopefully disillusion with Trumpism, isolationism and oligarchy. Depends on how bad it gets.

If the factors that lead to infighting in the first place aren't changed then fighting will resume post a war that demands cooperation, like a war against aliens. I think its possible however for a war to demand fundamental change on the political landscape such that there is continuous peace as a result post-war, like with Western Europe after WW2.

@Leo Gura If you were president instead of Biden from 2021-2025, How would you have handled the Ukraine crisis that led to the invasion in February 2022? And if you were to be the president today instead of Trump, how would you approach the situation regarding the peace talks? How much would you cave into Putin's demands?

It is hard to say. I don't know.

I have grown more and more supportive of Ukraine in the last year. Intitially my position was biased towards neutrality.

Realistically, only way to get Putin to compromise is to supply Ukraine with more weapons and support until Putin weakens at home.

I would give Ukraine hundreds of billions probably and try to get EU to ramp up their militaries and factories.

Putin will only listen when he hits a brick wall.

From what I have seen, while the situation is stable in Kremlin, I feel the more time passes, the more Russians are upset at Putin.

Most likely cause a large swing in the other direction.

Perhaps spur large growth past stage orange, as we seem to be bogged down in the worst of it.

The only way out is through

Politics normally go back and forth as long as democracy isn't totally destroyed...

All of this has happened before, and all of it will happen again.

27 year old song/clip couldn't be more relevant:

Why not put it to a vote in Ukraine? The eastern parts of Ukraine are overwhelmingly Russian speaking parts, and feel close culturally to Russia. If I were president of the United States, I would pressure Zelensky to put it to a vote. If Donbas and other eastern regions of Ukraine vote in favor of Russia, let Putin take those regions. It’s a beautiful thing Ukraine has called democracy.

Then can we also ask all territories in Russia they want to stay with Russia or move closer to the EU or have more democracy or become independent?

That's interesting....

Are you more supportive of Ukraine because of how much the country has already been suffering for almost 3 years now?

Wouldn't that be the opposite of what Professor Mearsheimer and Noam Chomsky have been saying NATO should have done long ago—that is, having the U.S. make a stronger effort to negotiate a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine?

Also, it is becoming increasingly clear that Ukraine can't win the war, Russia has kept taking more and more land from Ukraine slowly but surely, and the longer this war continues the more territory Russia will keep gaining.
