This is insane.

The self-proclaimed "King of the Deal," ladies and gentlemen!

Also, where was the "respect" when JD Vance ran his mouth about Europe in Munich a couple of weeks ago? Absolute scum. These people are so full of themselves - it’s insane. Disgusting American arrogance at its peak.

I’ve never felt more patriotic, more proud to be European than during this Trump administration. Seems like we’re the only adults left in the room.

I believe NATO is finished, and with each passing day, democracies fade. We must defend our democratic values at all costs - which is why Zelensky was bold and brave, though perhaps not even bold enough. If I were him, I would have grabbed Trump by the collar and screamed in his face, demanding to know whether he’s truly that much of a moron or if he simply refuses to grasp that we are in a war ignited by an egomaniacal dictator.

It's a very dangerous time.

Because of how corrupt Donald Trump and his friends are, they have the potential to ally with Putin as opposed to the democracies. And Putin is working just as hard to manipulate Trump to bring him to "his fold" and alliance, singing MAGA tunes.

Trump has to at some point decide whether to side with Putin or Zelensky & allies.

I think fundamentally we need to expose Putin for what he is because he is the biggest liar and killer in this whole thing, especially exposing him to Donald Trump who still has a chance of being swayed perhaps.

He made his decision long ago, and it’s clear which side he’s chosen. Birds of a feather flock together. But at the end of the day, it’s the same old "Murica First" - though, in reality, it’s just Trump First. It’s always about Trump.

I understand that he's very deceived about Putin (I believe). His intelligence is not currently capable of grasping what kind of guy Putin really is, in my opinion. But he can learn it from people like Zelensky.

That's why Zelensky didn't just keep attacking Trump I think he is trying very hard to educate him about Putin and his true colors that Trump still seems very blind to.

Lol, you’re cute. Trump is far too gone to be educated on anything. If you weren’t blackpilled already, this video should be the final nail in the coffin.

Ok but I think we have no choice but to keep trying to "educate Trump" since he's still the president and will be for a long time. There's not much of a choice because otherwise I think Putin will continue the wars on the bordering nations that oppose him.

I think it’s pretty much doomed. At this point, our best bet is strengthening ties with China and having Xi pressure Putin into behaving himself. Though, of course, China might be even more unhinged - just in a far more covert way. So yeah, things aren’t looking great. But if there’s any path forward for Europe and what's left of the so-called free world, it’s through smart diplomacy with China.

@Nilsi what europe needs to do is to start taking things seriously. Europe has more than 100 million more people than the us. There is no reason why we can't be as or more significant than the us economically and militarily.

I don’t support Trump extorting Ukraine for minerals.

But seriously, what does Zelensky even want? He has been given hundreds of billions of aid for years now and all that has happened is he’s in a war of attrition where he is losing men and land.

Trump already said he would keep sending weapons but he needlessly started an argument with Vance instead of just smiling and nodding.

No Ukraine supporter has given a coherent realistic plan that doesn’t involve just pushing the rest of Ukraine into the meat grinder.

Trump and Vance are pathetic though. Zelensky is ex comedian, but those two actual clowns.

@Raze he has literally just asked one simple question. How can they trust any kind of deal, when they are being repeatedly broken and not respected?

What are the guarantees, are there any?

@Husseinisdoingfine never say never

The front line is too fortified with mines, trenches, dragons teeth, pillboxes, etc...

And it doesn't look like Ukraine is going to be given the heavy weapons by America anymore to puncture this infrastructure.

He has a good plan regarding having security guarantees that have real consequences on Russia.

But the problem is trying to get other leaders to agree to this because nobody wants to sign up for it, so they have to be slowly educated about it.

It's a mistake to think this war is just about Ukraine, it's about all democracies and those ideologically opposite to Putin.

I would love to believe in this, but the reality is that we have no significant military capabilities compared to the U.S., Russia, or China. Even if we grow our economy, any real push for military strength would only provoke intervention from these powers, who see a strong Europe as a threat.

Nonetheless, I agree that this should remain the goal. But reaching it will require far more flexibility in forging temporary strategic alliances as we move toward a post-NATO, post-Bretton Woods world order.
