Amends. Kindness is amends.

AA Step 8:

Quote

We made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all

You could try a slightly harder hitting spiritual one if it resonates:

"Elohim, I am filled with the power and presence of your holy spirit. I am strengthened by your limitless grace to accomplish everything. I partake in the divine presence and am liberated from all evil forever. Remind me of our immortal friendship often. I love you."

@Aaron pThanks.

This is Kindness, the final saying I will start each meeting daily:

Quote

God, whenever I become angry, allow me to make amends and fix the damage I've made to the other.

Basing myself on the following speech in The Sermon of The Mount about Murder. I am convinced this is the core of recovery, service and Kindness:

21-22“You’re familiar with the command to the ancients, ‘Do not murder.’ I’m telling you that anyone who is so much as angry with a brother or sister is guilty of murder. Carelessly call a brother ‘idiot!’ and you just might find yourself hauled into court. Thoughtlessly yell ‘stupid!’ at a sister and you are on the brink of hellfire. The simple moral fact is that words kill.

23-24“This is how I want you to conduct yourself in these matters. If you enter your place of worship and, about to make an offering, you suddenly remember a grudge a friend has against you, abandon your offering, leave immediately, go to this friend and make things right. Then and only then, come back and work things out with God.

Anger = Addiction. Amends = Sobriety.

@Santiago Ram Hurt.

If you got anger that won't go away, it's because you've been hurt. Look past the anger to unearth and confront the hurt. The anger is just a side-effect of the hurt.

Enough theorizing, @Leo Gura is right. We addicts are Hurt 🤕.

I'm working with a clairvoyant to feel the Pain in my life history and damn, it Hurts.

Reminds me of this Dune scene.

And you can then apply Sedona Method on the hurt to release it.

Read the Sedona Method. Letting go of the Hurt seems like Forgiveness.
