In love and war everything is fair?

Do you agree with this saying?

I'm a highly intuitive person and I was meditating on this topic.

I had some interesting synchronizations which I won't share all of them but one I had with a friend with whom I had a discussion about the topic of relationships and I dropped this line purely out of spontaneous being and he was just awestruck. He didn't know what it means but it struck something deep in him.

Although I meditated on that saying previously and I can't exploitative the meaning and the truth of the saying I won't do it. I never explicate wisdom to people.

Personally I think there is a great truth in that saying.

Profound quote.

Imagine for a moment, dear friends, that you are Conciousness, and that you have only this one awareness - that you are at peace, and that you are.

For me this says in the extremes of human life, the pivotal moments of a productive life, which is what war and love are, the rule books go out the window.

In practice this is exactly what happens. It is life and death.

Is this right then?

No. You are just justifying yourself being a devil.

Have rules. Make your own if smart enough. And stick to them else go back to the drawing board and revise your rules.

@AION I dunno it always strikes me as a quote which people use to justify themselves being unethical to others in the context of dating and relationships lol.

Sounds cool though. Sometimes I say it to myself haha

The saying kind of reminds me of the opening scene of Bhagavad Gita, where Arjun says he doesn't want to fight the war and God comes to him and says everybody must do their duty to fulfill their dharma

Every statement put into words is ultimately just a construct. You can have a perspective that everything is fair. You could say from other perspective that life is pure unfairness. But ultimately this are just language-meaning-constructs. When you drop all of this you are left with only this mysterious THIS.

In love and war everything is. Just is. Life just is. Consciousness just is. No meaning, not even meaninglessness. Just is. :x

Fairness matters for social cohesion. The natural condition is a zero-sum game.

Back in the day, men would be fair and loving towards their family one day and rape and pillage their neighbors the next. But nobody really wants to live in a world like that because no one is immune to being victimized. There are much more incentives to being fair today because the game of social cohesion is much more all encompassing.

Some people still don’t understand that morality is a social construct. From the POV of god everything is fair just because. To be truly yourself is to get of this judgementalism and totally surrender to creation as it unfolds. In intense moments like in war (or personal conflict) or love the greatest things happen because you are in total release instead of holding up the  dharmic fart.

Morality is a social construct in part but its also informed by our base survival needs that all humans share. We have an innate sense of fairness. If you are suffering its not possible to appreciate an absolute perspective so fairness and survival is absolutely vital. On the cosmic scale, your basically a rat.

@Basman on a cosmic scale you are everything, don’t fall for that rat shit. It is materialistic paradigm to reduce yourself to a physical rat.

So easy to say when you are not suffering. How aware do you think concentration camp victims are of god's creation while they are starved and abused? Try living one year in a prison camp and you'll very quickly see why fairness and survival matters while you are still here.

If they put you in that concentration camp, after 1 year you will find out there is no fairness and you will start seeing the light what life is really about..

It should really be obvious why abject suffering reduces one's capacity for deep spirituality. If that wasn't true then there's no reason for you to care about your own survival at all. Of course that is impossible because you'll suffer if you do. That's the crux of the human condition.

Some of you guys live in your heads too much.
