Protests

11 posts in this topic

Maybe I've been missing the memos, but why aren't we hearing about protests? I live in a politically active area, and I heard that there was a protest on Monday, but that was the extent of it. Is the media keeping these events under wraps?

This is concerning.

I am also concerned about how Trump is going to react to protests that get "out of control". I think he's going to use this as an opportunity to expand his targets, deeming citizens enemies of the state or something like that. Or stating that protesters are planning a coup or something ridiculous.

Thoughts?

There are protests. They’re not that common because democrats are extremely demoralized right now.

I don’t think protests are that useful. A better move is organizing a political advocacy group and going door to door / calling to find people who aren’t active and convince them.

I don't think he's done much to merit protest, he was elected to deport migrants and cut spending.

I think the court will stop all his project 2025 and muskrat stuff.

When they start ethnic cleansing in Gaza I will be protesting.

So you’ve been protesting for over a year now?

Bombing a terrorist state that attacks you is not ethnic cleansing, the settlements prior to the attack are wrong but not connected to the u.s., my comment is about protesting the u.s. government.

I don't support Israel, they're a terrorist state too, I wouldn't condemn palestine for bombing and taking over Israel either.

I fear that people are indeed afraid to mobilize. This is the shock and awe stage of a regime change. It seems to be working.

Has anyone read On Tyranny yet?

I used to think that. It does wake up our representatives. Gets them off their asses.
