Fresh Start

Hi there , my name is Justine and I started watching Leo on YouTube in 2017 and had been watching regularly a few vods per week and sometimes even rewatching just, I learned alot and I guess I was getting better but did get worse first, anyway it's been 4 years since I watched a video and I've not been mentaly well at all. I've tried watching other channels for help 

I just feel I'm at a road block I don't know where to re start my actualisation process and get back on track for good , nothing sticks 

I am lazy I know I am .

 

Can anyone recommend what Vids to re start from what shall I listen to to help me get back on track. I think I may be worse then I was before unfortunately.

Am afraid I don't watch any vids but I just want to encourage you and motivate to keep persevering. Watch the vids which seem appealing. They all say the same thing in the end. They are reminding you that you are not who you think you are. You are spirit assuming a material form, the form means nothing except as a means for you to see the truth. My one advice would be to meditate every day if you can even just 5 minutes a day to begin. This signifies a commitment to being a better person. All the best Justine and stop by the forums and add in your questions and comments when you can. This is a good community to be part of.

@Justine I also started watching Leo's video since, 2017. I would recommend you to follow other self-improvement teachers too such as Mark Manson , Ryan holiday etc. 

For Leo's video I will recommend -- How to fall in love with life.

I agree with this advice. Sometimes you don't need to consume anything and just need healthier practices and learning through self-inquiry. 

My advice would be to relax. Stop trying to become actualized, or enlightened, etc. Love yourself how you are. Sometimes we develop an unhealthy obsession with getting somewhere with self-help and that gets in the way. Have a healthy practice like gettoefl said but don't beat yourself up.

I might avoid Leo's content if you aren't in the best headspace. Maybe watch his video on Self-Love. You could also dive deep into Adyashanti's work or Eckharte Tolle.
