The Self Identity is NOT Truth

8 posts in this topic

The self identity is something that is constructed by ourselves. There is nothing inherently True about it. NOTHING true.

Based on the simple fact that there is no self to criticize or scrutinise, every decision that you have made throughout your entire life has been perfect. It is exactly what you were meant to do at that current point in time.

If we can figure out the make up of the structure of thoughts, then we can figure out a way to change the structure and therefore change the way that we interpret thoughts and hopefully have more control over them.

I wouldn’t say we construct our selves, rather it’s just spontaneously constructed, but then we have power in deconstructing it, I don’t know how you would structure a self yourself

The motive is not to structure it yourself but to fully understand the structure of the self. Why has it been created in the way that it has?

In order to do this, one has to detach from the self. It is impossible to examine the self without zooming out and looking at it objectively.

That’s a good idea. I tend to think about it myself. It could potentially aid in breaking it down.

True , it requires self awareness so observing yourself, “your self” objectively, inward focus rather than outward focus

The Majority of ppl construct themselves Unconsciously, so it appears everything is happening by accident, randomness rules, but what can be done Unconsciously can be done Consciously, then everything comes into perspective and nothing is random anymore, that is the basic fundamental of what it means to be Human, doing things Unconsciously or Consciously, no other life form has this available to them...

Very true. Then it's a question of does the human want to bring things into his or her conscious awareness. Does he really want to face the truth?

I don’t agree that the human created the self rather the self was just created. But yes we are involved in maintaining the self so contributing to its structure or it’s deconstruction
