I need an AI to edit my book

I have a 50 A4 pages manuscript, I want to transform it into a pocket book. I am thinking to pay a Claude AI premium subscription. Is this AI able to edit my book properly and from one shot? Will it act accordingly if I say for example: "Edit my manuscript in such way so you only modify what critically needs to be modified, like grammatical errors and unprofessional sentence constructions."

As far as I know, it depends on your prompts as much as it does on the service itself.

You'll have to generate highly specific prompts so that it does what you want it to do. A general command such as "polish up this manuscript in this or that way" might not yield the best results. 

Also, it likely won't occur in one shot. I'm not sure what limits it has regarding the amount of content it is able to process, so you might have to go one chapter at a time. In any case, you can always first check the free versions of these chatbots.

You'll have to go more specific with the prompt and fine tune it to your style. Most surely different tests and rounds of correction will have to be used. Finally you'll need to check it yourself a couple of times. Treat it like an assistant that could be useful but needs supervision and tailored instructions.
