I decided to quit school.

After reflection, i decided to quit school, and work with my dad at the coffee shop that he has. For now i'm going to do that, plus i have a plan that i want to work on, which is to grow my page about philosophy that i created online, and then sell products like courses, books, music... to make money. What do you think ?

Best of luck. Keep in mind that outside of giving you knowledge on a subject, college degrees are mainly useful for securing a guaranteed or high paying job. If you want to be a businessman, artist, entrepreneur, etc. it's far more important to develop your drive, vision and grit/work ethic from this point forward. And if you change your mind, you can always go back, but if you're serious, you should give this a real shot for a year or two and see what you can accomplish.

It seems like a mistake to me, but I don't know your situation in detail, so I admit that I could be wrong.

There are too many people who study for a long time. The jobs that pay the most are manual jobs.

Nothing will prevent Willy.

Which school did you quit? High school? College?

You're going to work at a coffee shop? I guess that's fine for the time being.

Sell courses, books, music, to make money? Each of these alone can be very time consuming, and these are very different products to sell. Merely to produce one single decent online course, or to write a single book, or to become a musician, each of these requires developing a skill over a long period of time. Unless you are selling someone else's courses, books and music?

I personally value education a lot. But I understand if some people don't fit into that path. Some people are more into trade skills, like electrician, plumber, mechanic, and some people are more into entrepreneurial stuff. But whatever path you pick, I suggest you plan carefully and realistically. Don't you think there is an over abundance of online courses these days? If you focus on online courses, do the research, see what skills are not being taught (like some very old and niche programming language) and create a course specifically for that. But you need to be realistic. And chances are you will spend a lot of time producing a course, it will be difficult (to use the equipment, to edit the videos, to write the script, etc), you put it on sale on Udemy, and it will be visible on the 4th page (almost no one bothers to reach this far).

To judge your decision we would have to know you as a person, what type of person you are, and know what you were studying and determine whether school/your major actually aligns with you. Sometimes the best option is to just pursue your highest value and what you're passionate about while holding down a steady job, saving money. It would also depend where OP lives, because in America, you have to go into incredible debt for a college degree. It's not necessarily best for everyone to have a college degree if they are just going to school for the sake of it, without having a clear vision of their career post education. You can find yourself massively in debt, unable to get a job in your field, or could realize you are not even interested in the day to day of having a career in what you studied. This happens to more people than you'd think. Best to nip that sorta shit in the bud earlier on if that's the case for you.
